Dr. Steven Waxenbaum, MD

Tried to make an appt, had massive rectal bleeding for a few weeks. Called and was told next appt was in a month. I told them I would be better by then, so forget it. This was for any doctor at the practice, not any one personally. The problem subsided after I treated it myself a week later. Buyer beware ! May be good if you can get an appt. lol

We received a form letter that we are due for a colonoscopy. We had just had one less than 2 years ago. Asked for Dr Waxenbaum's partner Dr White who we used for 20 years. They said he retired. When asked a few more times they finally said he retired from the practice but is still practicing elsewhere. Apparently the partners split up and Dr Waxenbaum's staff (lead by Dr. Waxenbaum ?) are trying unethically to get all his patients. They should be reported to the AMA.

Dr. Waxenbaum is someone with a relaxed yet competent manner. He is my "go to" for this part of my healthcare.

I was treated for hemorrhoids and he told me there would be some pain and to take Advil, and there would be some bleeding ,afterwards. There was all that and more. Because he didn't 't tell me how to treat the bleeding, I went through 3 pairs of underwear! Thanks to my wife, who purchased hemorrhoid ointment and pads, the bleeding was under control. I will go to my next appointment because I believe that he might have had a bad day and deserves a second chance.

I have NEVER written a review about a doctor even when I told myself I would but today I had to. Dr. Waxenbaum and his staff were amazing. I had been in pain and uncomfortable for quite some time avoiding the procedure. I called the office by random this morning and explained my situation and the receptionist was so accommodating and understanding she told me to come in right away. I was there in 25 mins and was welcomed with a smile and a feeling I made the right call. I was in dr. Waxenbaum's office in 20 mins and he was so nice! I couldn't believe how comfortable and safe he made me feel. He examined me and relieved me of my pain and misery. Don't get me wrong it was painful which dr. Waxenbaum warned me about but he also assured me I would feel much better later. He was right! It's been about 7hrs and yes I'm a little uncomfortable still but I can tell I'll be up and running literally in about two days or so. Thank you Dr. Waxenbaum and staff you were amazing! It is so nice to… find a doctor who actually practices. Too many times I have been disappointed with doctors these days but again Dr. Waxenbaum is a true gem. Thank you!

I had hemroid problems for years. I met with Dr. Waxenbaum, and he listened to my problems in detail. He told me I would have to come back a few times because its better to fix a little at a time so things could heal. Well I believe him, and I have never been feeling so good, and all the problems I had are gone. He is a GREAT DOCTOR, and even though I had to make several visits, I know he did that for my comfort and safety. Also, his staff is GREAT. I wish all the Doctors and Staff I have been to was a good as them.

Dr is nothing but professional. What I was being seen for wasn't an easy experience. Dr Waxenbaum made it easy with his professionalism and knowledge of his field. I have met him before in the past. He did a surgery on my grandmother many years ago. She had Colon cancer. He made no promises and said he would do his best. That he did! I would trust his insights on any diagnosis or treatments. He knows what is best for his patients. I work in the medical field and I have met many doctors. I can say he is, by far one of the best!
