Dr. Sudeep Pramanik, MD

Dr. Pramanik was pompous and arrogant. He entered the room and pronounced my diagnosis before examining me. During my visit he interrupted my exam time by talking on his earphones and showing little interest in my concerns and questions. Not the right doctor for me. Would not recommend.

Dr. Pramanik has been my doctor for a few years now and I’m blessed to have him. His professional, takes the time to communicate, to address questions or concerns and has a awesome personality. Dr. Pramanik provides excellent treatment, however during the process educating as well. Plus his staff provides the best customer service and are professional too.

The best procedure I have ever had done. Rt eye onThursday, Lt eye on Monday. Surgery Center was great , the easiest surgery with Tagore at result!

I went to Dr Premanik and was impressed with the testing before my talking to him HOWEVER, when he came into the room he said "Let Me Look At Your Results" and then turned and said I will operate and you will be able to see". I said Wait I have questions (as I have Fuchs) and I am not near ready to make the decision to have surgery......he said, well come back in 2 months and we will see how your Fuch's progressed. REALLY? NOPE......I thought since he was from Wilmer that he would be the best, and he may be good BUT this doctor is not for me. I called Hershey and they set me up with a wonderful FUCHS specialist and he examined me, said I had scar tissue on my left eye and that would have to be addressed first, but come back in 6 months and we will see how/if the Fuchs progressed. Then it was time, scar tissue removed in 1 operation and 2 each of DMEKS and I see great! This Hershey doctor was patient, kind, answered all my questions......I just wasn't a number to him I was a real… person. I would never suggest someone go to Dr Premanik!

We would definitely choose Dr. Pramanik again. Great bedside manner and very up beat. The whole experience was great from the exams to the surgeries and explanations for home care.

Have never experienced a more competent, caring, and professional physician in any field of expertise. He always has the patient's best interest in mind.

Detailed description of procedure and follow up actions

Dr. Pramanik was very personal and related to us warmly. He explained everything carefully and in terms which we could understand. We think staying overnight at GBMC was helpful. If we needed to we would happily return to Dr. Pramanik.
