Dr. Sujatha Anasapurapu Rao, MD

She is a fantastic doctor. She went above and beyond to find exactly the right type of chemo for me at a time when some doctors thought there was no chemo treatment for the type of cancer that I had. Here it is 15 years later. I am still alive and cancer free. She is a really good doctor. She saves lives.

What I like about her is probably what others don't. She marches to her own drummer. She takes what time she needs in each room and moves on when she is ready. I was shocked to see her ratings from some. I have been going to her office for around 5 years; she is not only caring but very professional.

Wonderful person to be around and consult with!

At a time when I felt so very ill, had no energy, was having so many tests and had very worried family with anxiety and feeling helpless to help me get better, and all I could really do is wait and and wait some more, Dr Rao was the strength, patience, and caring person who sat and took her time with me, calmed me down, and made sense of everything that seemed too big for me before to understand. She helped me feel in control of my situation and I knew that now that she was looking into why I didn't feel well, nothing was going to slip through the cracks and I would be just fine. She gave me peace of mind.

Dr. Rao is amazing. She saved my life and still will follow-up on labwork ordered by other physicians faster than they will. She makes me feel like I matter to her. She has personally called me on several Sundays to update me on labs or other info during my chemo treatment. She is awesome. I highly recommend her.

Dr Rao over all is a Great Doctor but her staff could be better. They really stop her from getting 4 stars.
