Dr. Susan Liebowitz Luedke, MD

After being diagnosed with breast cancer is how I met Dr. Susan Luedke. I have a very nasty, aggressive cancer and yes, I was very afraid. She walked me through what would happen, she wanted to shrink the mass so it was more manageable to remove without fear of spreading. She told me I needed to have a port put in so my treatments could be administered more easily. She likes all her patients to have their first treatments done at her Hampton/Chippewa. Although that was a drive for me, let me say, after my first treatment, I called back to her office and asked if I could take all of my treatments there. Her staff is top notch and extremely caring. A positive experience on a scary journey. Everyone knows your name, you're made welcome, comfortable, comforted & most importantly, she and he staff cared. I was not a chart nor a number. I was her patient. Top notch quality care, not quantity care. Small facility where you get one on one care..! She is a caring angel who got… me through some very dark times. I have been blessed ... I chose Dr. Luedke because of her reputation & caring attitude towards her patients. She is always there for her patients, no matter what time of day or night. She told me she was going to hit me hard, & she did, but she had to give me the chemo that was tougher than my cancer. She got me through a really rough time, & was there for me each step of the way.

Dr. Luedke has been my breast care oncologist for almost 15 years now and continues to be compassionate, caring, and very thorough. She shows the concern for me that one would have for a family member or friend. She is aggressive with treatment and follow up and does not use the "wait and see" approach. She and her staff have been very flexible with our needs, which has been a great help as we travel a distance for current appointments and previous treatment. Her smile can melt away any fear you may have.

I was referred to Dr. Luedke by my primary care doctor who must have known what an angel she is. I believe that she and her staff saved my life, they are very caring, very professional and most of all they treat their patients like you are one of their family. God Bless them all!
