A Cardiologist is someone who finishes 3 years of internal medicine residency, after which he does another 3 years of Cardiology Fellowship if he of she are thought to be smart enough to be accepted to such fellowship, usually based on evaluations of a Cardiology Fellowship Program Director. Once they finish 3 more years of Cardiology Fellowship training , then they are called Cardiologists. Dr. Ahsan Claims to be a Cardiologist but in fact he is not, and the information listed under his specialty is a pure misrepresentation of the facts, which needs to be addressed !, may be by the medical board, or hospital board ! Any internist can treat coronary artery disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia and all the conditions that Dr. Ahsan has mentioned that he treats, but it is unethical to lying to your patients and the public because you suffer from a sense on inferiority that you have not been accepted to cardiology fellowship. and the same goes for VASCULAR MEDICINE ! Additionally, Dr. Ahsan has finished his training at Englewood Hospital, and small community hospital in Englewood- New Jersey that is affiliated with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.
