Dr. Tannaz Ebrahimi Ebrahimi Adib, MD

I was referred to her by my OB/GYN for a hysterectomy. She looked at all my ultrasounds and read my files and decided uterine ablation was the way to go. I decided to listen to her and so far so good. I am only a few days out though. She listens, she apologized for the years I’ve suffered and wasn’t listened to. She was very sympathetic, I appreciated her. She was great during the procedure too.

I found Dr Adib after learning I was pregnant with my first baby. I stopped seeing her half way through my pregnancy and found a much better Dr. The staff never answers the phone, takes days to return messages which is extremely concerning if you have an emergency or health concern, and the office/tools are outdated. They outsource for everything. I had to get blood work done 3 times because either the lab or her office lost my results. I often couldn’t book appointments with the places she outsourced me to for 2-3 weeks. I was in tears after almost every appointment I had with her because I just felt uncared for and lost. She told me I had an infection and when I asked what kind of infection she just said “it’s not an STD and you wouldn’t understand” well I would still like to know even if it’s some medical term I’ve never heard of. I had no confidence in the care she gave me and felt downright terrified in my early stages of pregnancy because I felt unsupported by her and staff. The… hospital she is affiliated with has terrible reviews on the Labor and Delivery unit too. I’m so glad I found another Dr/Hospital and I would suggest looking into other Doctors for OB care.

I have never written a review of a doctor before, but it is important to me that no other woman experiences what I did. Not only is Dr. Tannaz Ebrahimi Adib extremely rude, condescending, and impatient, she has very antiquated information and advice to provide. I have endometriosis and she told me it’s impossible for me to feel pain when I ovulate because women only ovulate while they sleep. She pushed me to do a procedure that could severely effect my chances to conceive. I left and got a second opinion, and the new doctor said I made the right choice and treated me a much safer way. Dr. Adib did not make me feel safe or comfortable during procedures and had the audacity to tell me “I should not be tensing up because this is not painful and is not optimal for her”. She made me feel like a burden any time I would ask a question and constantly said “just trust your doctor”. Her bedside manner is absolutely HORRIBLE, and I’m so glad I left her. Please stay far away from this doctor!

I had a full hysterectomy due to fibroids. I went to another doctor first that wanted to do unnecessary test and could not get me in for months. Dr. Adib got me right in and knew exactly what needed to be done. She made sure that she had all the information, did a biopsy first, and then performed the hysterectomy. She answered all of my questions clearly, professionally and with compassion. She listened. If you are looking for a surgeon that is skilled and thorough, this is it. I would recommend her to my family and friends.

I went with my mother in law, she was the only way I could get a ride since my husband took the car to work. So, I showed up about 4 minutes late and got signed in. My mother in law wanted to join me since she knows this was supposed to be an important appointment for me. The other doctor in this office referred me to her, so I could move forward with options for Endometriosis treatment. Well I got sent to a room to wait for the doctor, and my mother in law came posing as my "mother". It took the doctor about an hour past my appointment time to actually come into the room. She looks at us, pauses and then sits down. She says hi and asks if my MIN is my mother, to which I said yes to. Dr. Adib says, "Oh I could tell, I just didn't want to assume." Me and the MIN look nothing alike except I have purple hair and she has lavender highlights. Then She asks me about my period first thing. I tell her that it's pretty excruciating, not the kind of period that you stay in bed all day and… snack. The kind of period that I am screaming and crying, I can't move and I am completely debilitated. She kind of just nods and then says she's going to ask me about my family history, on both sides. I've had this question a lot, usually that's one of the first questions a doctor asks me, if there is Endometriosis on either side of my family. So being kind of mentally prepared for that, I got ahead and answered that I have endo on both sides. Then she stops me, looks annoyed and says, "Oh that's not what I was going to ask." Then proceeds to tell me she was going to ask about mental health. Starts asking me about Depression, Anxiety, and Bi-polar disorder. I'm confused at this point, but I answer honestly. When I answer she begins telling me I have depression and that I'm not really in pain, I just think I am. Me and my mom in law share a look of confusion and then I ask her what brought her to that conclusion, she doesn't respond to me. Instead she starts talking at my mother in law. I do interrupt her and I say, "What about my diagnosis, what brought you to this conclusion?" She says, "What diagnosis, you don't have one." Jenny asks her, "What about her MRI, did you look at that?" Dr. Adib says not only did she not look at it, she doesn't accept it as a diagnosis, because she states Endo cannot be seen in and MRI. Which Is very untrue. (DIE) Deep Infultrating Endo can be seen with MRI, which was what I am diagnosed with. She would have known that is she'd looked at the MRI. So I ask again, "What makes you think you can diagnose me with depression then?" She gets up to go actually have her assistant bring her the MRI results so she can view them finally. At this point she's still telling me that anything my doctor found has to be dismissed and that I need a therapist. So, I got up and walked out. I realized what was happening here. Somehow this MD, decided I have depression by looking at me. She decided she wasn't going to treat me, or even look at my paperwork I hand delivered to that office. I have purple hair, and I dressed in dark colors, and have tattoos. a stark contrast to most of their cliental. Somehow I suppose this impression is how she figured I had depression. If you want to be treated for something you actually have, don't come here. If you seek to be heard, DO NOT COME TO HER. If you don't wish to have judgement based on appearance, DO NOT COME. its sad when ego can stop a person from helping someone in need.

This doctor is terrible. Please run if you have a Pap smear. I will be reporting her to the board of directors. She has her staff hide the tools she uses for the Pap smear. She never spoke to me about when she would insert the middle-age speculum. I came down with severe pelvic pain that night after the Pap smear. I currently have a fever too. She suggested I might have MS without any validity or proof and staph infection without swabbing for the bacteria. Her exam room did not have paper towels. She did not was her hands prior to my exam. She is condescending and rude, including to her staff. I do not know how she has a doctor title with the little knowledge she had with any of my questions.

I had a surgical procedure with Dr. Adib, and everything went really well. She was attentive and competent.

Narcissistic, poor manners, stay away from this woman

poor bed side manner and narcissistic. Before my surgery, I told her My pain was so bad and I thought there was more going on than fibroids. She insisted it was in my head and prescribed me Xanax! In the hospital, she told me that she had to check-in on a patient “that has been crying for her for 2-days!” After the surgery, I discovered the surgery was way more complicated than expected. (as I thought) and she got defensive and said any other surgeon would have cut me “ stem to stern”! Please do not subject yourself to this woman

I had been having an incredibly difficult time with horrific pain. She performed a surgery perfectly and I was healed! I am so grateful for her!
