I arrived 10 prior to my appointment . I had infection and i was in pain. I waited for half hour in waiting area then been called. Once in the room I was told to strip down and put the robe on. I did so and waited another 40 minutes half naked and freezing!then the medical assistant came in and asked me questions. When I told her I'm in pain and more information she couldn't be bothered to hear it! then I waiting another hour and so Finally the Dr came in and talked and talked but would not listen to me! She just talked to hear herself. She was rude and arrogant. shE ASKED ME FOR WAIT believe me I waited more Hour and ten min The Doctor came and told they are working on my paper. they should told me she even never apologized for the ridiculous long wait. I should leave but I really needed medicine.This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a Doctors office. I have been seen faster in an Er

Apparently Dr.'s can charge an annual fee as well as a "sick" visit at the same time. Insurance company billed approximately $450.00 for a 15 minute appointment! No wonder insurance is so high and unattainable by so many! Totally unacceptable!!! Will not return to this office again!

I waited over an hour, wearing just a johnny coat sitting on a examining table..found out the Dr wasn’t even there.. shortly after that I left. This is totally uncalled for. Always loved Dr McCarthy no offense on her, but think I should of been called or told the Dr wasn’t there.

Dr.McCarthy is a very competent and caring of her patients. She takes her time to explain what is the best treatment plan , what is happening, and she also makes you very comfortable during the exam. Call her night or day she is there and doesn't seem "bothered" by your call. Some times you do wait in the office...but the quality of care you receive she is also giving to other patients. So it is well worth the wait to have good care. Her office staff is also very nice to work with they too are supportive...Over all it was a good experience...Thank you Dr. for you care.

I have been seeing Dr. McCarthy for over 40 years. She delivered my first born, he is 39. She is personable and tells me everything that's going on with my exam and health. Excellent doctor.

Dr McCarthy is probably one of the best obgyn drs. I know there is a long wait to see her. I’d like to let everyone know that I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 14 years ago and if it were not for dr McCarthy’s thoroughness and asking a lot of questions I would not be here today to write this comment. She saved my life. She is a great dr

never followed through with her plan

I arrived 15 prior to my appointment . I waited for an hour and when I told the front desk this I waited another 10 minutes to be brought back . Once in the room I was told to strip down and put the robe on. I did so and waited another 20 minutes half naked and freezing!then the medical assistant came in and asked me questions. When I offered more information she couldn't be bothered to hear it! Finally the Dr came in and talked and talked but would not listen to me! She just talked to hear herself. The Doctor never apologized for the ridiculous long wait. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a Doctors office. I have been seen faster in an Er on a Saturday night. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here.

Never never never on time! It's ridiculous to make patients wait more than one hour....or an hour and a half or two hours!! If the doctor has emergencies or wants to spend time with her patient then she needs to space out appointments so patients are not wasting their time sitting in a gown on the examining table for an inordinate amount of time. Totally ridiculous and there is absolutely no excuse. It's disrespectful to patients.

Dr. McCarthy has been my OB/GYN for years. She is knowledgable and was able to provide the best of 3 birthing experiences. Unfortunately her staff, difficulty in obtaining an appointment and being seen in a timely manner are no longer a good fit.
