Dr. Terrence Michael Philbin, DO

Dr. Philbin performed my bunion surgery in July 2025, and the outcome has been deeply disappointing. I am now dealing with significant pain and ongoing difficulty walking—issues I did not have to this extent before surgery. I’ve also encountered repeated inaccuracies in my chart notes, which appear to stem from poor communication and inadequate listening during appointments. The aftercare has fallen well below my expectations, and his bedside manner has consistently lacked the attentiveness and professionalism I would expect from a specialist. As for his overall attitude, I will reserve my full opinion.

Dr. Philbin was so supportive as I was processing my injury. I really enjoyed learning how he was testing my Achilles and did not rush through the information or questions I had.

I feel fortunate to have had Dr. Philbin perform both of my foot surgeries. The recent repair of the displaced fracture of my fifth metatarsal bone was a challenge due to my age and poor bone quality. During both the surgery process and the healing period after, Dr. Philbin carefully monitored my recovery and took the time needed to give me the best possible results. A year earlier, he removed my dislocated hammer toe, which resulted in the ability to walk comfortably while avoiding risks. Dr. Philbin and his entire staff are always professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Safety measures are documented and explained thoroughly. Angie, his clinical assistant, is great about returning calls and not only answers your question, but she adds additional information that educates and gives you peace of mind. I highly recommend Dr. Philbin. It’s obvious that he cares about his patients and wants them to have the best possible outcome!
