Doctor is professional, Caring, very thorough for many years as a Patient.

Appointment started out good. Staff very friendly and engaging. No problem getting appt and 5 min wait time getting to see medical assistant. MD spent limited time.. Did not engage in conversation regarding my issues of concern and did not discuss treatment. Had my blood drawn in office. Had to call for results x 2 and no actual values given. Told to diet and exercise.No follow up discussed.

Dr. Avella and staff are wonderful. Very professional, very nice atmosphere. Extremely helpful.

Although he does harass me every time I go there I do understand it's only out of concern and he's only doing his job. He's the best !!!

The office is very professional and accomodating. I feel that Dr. Avella has worked with me very patiently to manage my health issues, and more importantly, minimize my risk for a cardiac event. I believe my health is in the best state it's been since I was very young!

I think Dr. Avella has GREAT bed side manner. He does exactly what he needs to do and is very professional. I always feel like he pays attention and listens carefully to all my problems, and has professional and responsible advice. I feel very safe with him as my doctor. Maybe if you're looking for a doctor to socialize with he is not your best bet, but if you want your health well taken care of I would trust Avella. Also, the staff that work in the office are amazingly helpful, and address your needs very quickly!

As long as there's nothing really wrong with you, you'll get in every 3 months for your 30 second consultation. He'll write your new prescriptions while reciting the same old story and have you at the front desk with an obligatory handshake and a date for your next appointment. If you don't show up, he won't renew your prescriptions, so I get to incur the co-pay for "keep taking your meds, lose a few lbs, everything looks good, get a blood test, bye"

VERY COLD WITH BED SIDE MANNER OF A WART. MAY BE IS A GOOD DR BUT YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW IT. HE MUST HAVE FAILED 101 BED SIDE MANNER IN MED SCHOOL
