Dr. Thomas E Dougherty, MD

Dr. Dougherty, is poor at best and horrible at worst. He is an expert at not answering questions fully, and truthfully. I am convinced that his knowledge and expertise are limited. I feel that his demeanor is a front to cover his incompetent conduct. I do not trust nor do I have confidence in anything that he says or does. I’m happy that he retired and can not practice anymore mediocre medicine to anyone.

If I could rate this place zero stars I completely would. The nurse practitioner is the nastiest woman I have ever dealt with. She is rude, and very unprofessional. She made a major error, refused to take any responsibility, and in fact blamed me. I will not be returning here so they can charge my insurance insane money, and give me five minutes of their time. She also gave me attitude when she called a second time for now returning her call to book an appointment. I’m an essential worker at the moment, and have been a little busy. Terrible experience all around. She is a horrible NP.

Dr Dougherty is great. He’s very thoughtful and he is old fashioned in the sense that if you end up in the hospital he will come in every morning to check on you and administer your health care himself in the hospital. You don’t see that much anymore

I am rating the doctor so low because of his staff. His staff is not courteous or prompt. I have been trying to get my medical records faxed and the staff has been rudely refusing to do this. The last time I went to see Doctor Dougherty I paid my copay in cash and then was sent a bill for not paying the copay. I do not recommend this doctor due to his incompetent staff.

I've been with Dr. Dougherty for almost 25 years. He's never done me wrong. Always professional. Excellent care and listens when I needed him to. Explains until I understand. Much appreciated. Thanks Dr.!
