Again Dr Niesen was very helpful in explaining exactly what my problem was and his recommendations to fix the problem.

No proposed treatment at this time.

7 minutes If the surgeons time after waiting 75 minutes. Your kidding, right ?!? Highly doubt I will be back

Again, the visit comprised a short examination and a prescription for a test before Dr. Neissen could make any suggestions.

I do not understand why the hospital where Dr. Niesen is performing the surgeries is not addressing the negative surgery outcomes. Several hospital nurses told me, "He does not have a good bedside manner." Dr. Niesen holds the status of a Senior Dr. So, one would expect Senior experienced = surgical GOOD OUTCOMES! A Dr. on staff discussed my concerns with Dr. Niesen. Dr. Niesen told my Dr. "If the patient gets in a lot of pain before I do the surgery? The patient (me) can go to the E.R. for help."I was an in-patient & was to have had surgery quickly & he changed his mind after I was already on his surgery schedule. I was experiencing HORRIBLE PAIN! His answer to my medical problem? Delay surgery, go home & if I could not tolerate the pain? I was to visit the E.R. for pain control.

Dr. Niesen said he would do surgery on me . He told me he would do the surgery in 2 days. He changed his mind & told me, "Come to my office next week & then we will schedule surgery." I expressed concern of not being able to tolerate the pain that much longer. My continued pain was not a priority. So, I sought help from a different medical source.

My husbands leg had been hurting for about nine days. His internist prescribed a water pill and made appt a week later. We got into neisen same day as we called. He found a clogged vein and prescribed blood thinner. A relief to know what is wrong

If you are overweight, this is not the doctor for you.

Dr. Niesen is a wonderful and caring doctor. He has performed four surgeries on me for vascular disorders. I would not consider another surgeon.
