I went to Dr. Oei for a second opinion as he is a trusted family doctor. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did. He re-assessed my condition and recommended a less invasive procedure to fix my detached retina. He takes the time to answer questions and make you feel comfortable and not rushed during your exam. His staff is all very professional and pleasant as well.

I became Dr. Thomas Oei's patient nearly 20 years ago, shortly after he joined Dr. Sheldon Braverman in San Antonio. I see him now almost exclusively at his office in Kerrville. He has treated my eye problems, including macular degeneration in my left eye. My sight in that eye has slowly improved, I think, because of his diligence in keeping up with the latest technology as it has become available over the years. The equipment in his office is of the highest quality. He is a very caring doctor, kind and polite. His staff is professional and attentive. I have never had to wait over 15 minutes to be called in for the first session of my appointment. I have relatives and friends who have also become his patients. They, too, are very pleased with Dr. Oei.

My Mom suffered from a retinal occlusion condition and Dr. Thomas Oei has been treating her with patience and kindness. Under his care, Mom recovered from the serious inflammation on her left eye. And after a successful cataract surgery by Dr. Oei recently, Mom's vision has improved as well. Dr Oei is highly skilled and I trust him. He is one of the best doctors I know.

Doctor Oei is very knowledgeable and explains things in simple terms. The office is efficient and employees are very helpful. I came in with flashing light that I could see from the corner of my eyes. I was assured everything was fine and my symptoms are common for my age. He made sure it was not a more serious problem that could cause the same symptoms. I highly recommend him & his staff. A human answers the phone when I call the office. I love that kind of service.
