Dr. Tihomir Ivanov Tochev, MD

I have been with Dr Tochev since he started in his office her in kingsport. I have always found him to be caring and takes the time to listen. He seems very knowledgeable about all medical subjects of which he speaks.He is not agressive and defensive like some doctors are when you talk with them about different things relating to you diagnosis. He truely cares for the best outcome for his patients.He also spends a quality amt of time with each pt in order to reach the correct diagnosis. He does not run his pts throught his office like cattle. This is a little hard to sit and wait for a long time but the wait is worth it. Just bring a good book! Off the cuff, over my 30 years of nursing I have worked with many doctors and I have noticed that many of the foreign doctors seem to have an extra edge of for a lack of a better word, more medical knowledge or maybe better training in the field, or maybe they just worked harder who knows? I just know this guys hits the nail on the head every… time. And I am no dummy, I usually know what is wrong with me before I go to the doctor anyway, I just need the medication to get over the infection.This guy is seriously underrated he should be doing better things than running a clinic. But that is his business.

This is the best doctor in Kingsport, TN and all Tri-City area. He will talk to you and try to help you not just rush you out. Just talking to this smart man and you start to feel better. If you have chronic condition and you suffer he will find a way to help you. You can not find a single patient who does not think this is the best doctor around. Does not take any insurance plans, but can you blame him? Very hard to get an appointment. The office has hundreds of patients waiting to see him.

Dr. Tochev is an excellent doctor. He will spend as much time with you as it takes explaining your problems in a way that you can understand them and to answer any questions you may have. He is the most copassionate and caring doctor I have ever seen, he is not one to rush in and out to see how much money he can make, he honestly cares about his patients.
