Dr. Timothy Wayne Blend, MD

Absolutely the best doctor I have been to. The entire staff makes you feel welcome, Dr. Blend takes his time to go over your conditions if you are not feeling optimal and offers life changing solutions! He literally saved my life!

Went to the ER w/melon caught in my throat. Blend ordered a shot & a CT scan. He read the CT report from another Dr. The issue resolved itself. He advised me to see an ENT for salivary stones and throat evaluation. He billed me $1877 for his service (not hospital services) or 9-10 times the going rate.

I think any lower reviews are from him working the ER a few days a week and he IS the one you want when 9 other specialists can't figure it out. Go to his private practice The Blend Institute off SR 70.

I Have been going to Dr. Blend for over two years now. I stumbled across this website and began reading some of the reviews (started with the negative ones). I am writing this to tell my story. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis just before seeing Dr. Blend. I was 47 at the time. I went to investigate Testosterone replacement as it (Low T) was the last (expected) culprit for my condition (as every other potential cause seemed to check out fine with conventional doctors who only wanted to put me on medication at a relatively young age for this condition). After two years of treatment my osteoporosis diagnoses (using bone scans to confirm) had corrected and was gone. Most recently blood tests showed an irregularity which out of precaution Dr. Blend was ready to refer me out to a specialist in the abundance of caution. Before that he recommended one prescription which ended up correcting the initial concern and all was fine. The point of all of this was that the doctor… immediately halted treatment upon seeing the discrepancy in my blood work and decided not based upon the dollars but rather based upon my well being. I think that says a lot to discredit most of what the few negative reviews seem to be suggesting. I’m a skeptical person by nature and was a little suspect when I first arrived only because he seemed like a real doctor in a setting (the “Low T” adds) that probably harbors a lot of quacks. After having been a patient now for over two years I can only say he is the real thing and i would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Blend and nurse Angela have been a God send with my severe fibromyalgia and thyroid disease. I am pain free, sleeping, chronic fatigue due to adrenal issue gone and thyroid meds corrected. After seeing other doctors in the Sarasota area and Mayo Clinic, I finally found relief. There are no words to thank Dr Blend and his nurse Angela for the medical care I have received. My family is so grateful to have me back enjoying life again.

I highly recommend DR. Tim Blend and his wife. They are a great medical team who practice cutting edge medicine to best help their patients. The Blend Institute staff is courteous and professional, top shelf!

The worst Dr. ever. Seems to keep reinventing himself every few years. Now claims to be anti-aging specialist. Modern day snake oil salesman who can't wait for Obama care to go into effect. Very greedy!!Would have given him a big 0 on the ratings if possible!

i found dr blend to be very friendly and very attentive. i have been going to him for about 4 mon. i feel better than i have felt in 2 and a half years. i have had other drs tell me to live with my problems i have had them tell me nothing is wrong , i even had one dr tell me i was going to die young. i am very happy now and i know he has other things to help me we are taking one thing at a time and so far so good so very good

would most definitely recommend to friends very professional showed his human side including a sense of humor .....so what's not to like???
