Dr. Timothy Joseph Matway, MD

Dr. Matway is concerned about his patients offering different options for treatment. Since I started coming here for back pain I’m feeling much better. I highly recommend Dr. Matway and his staff.

I left the office (my first visit) in tears because of the way Dr. Matway treated me. His bedside manner was nonexistent, he was rude, arrogant and almost hostile. When I tried to convey to him that the way he was speaking to me he said “I was imagining things” and decided we wouldn’t be a good fit as doctor/patient and grabbed his stuff and left me in the room. Once I was able to pull myself together, I left a complaint with both the front desk staff and his MA, the latter who actually treated me with about as much respect as her boss. I think it’s great if other people have had good experiences with this provider, but for every good review I’ve read about him there are two who have had similar experiences and my sympathies are with them. I’ve never been treated so badly or so unprofessionally by a provider.. I don’t even like to refer to him as a doctor because to do so tends to give the whole profession a bad name. If I could have left 0 stars I would have. He may be a competent… doctor but his people skills definitely need a lot of work.

He is very kind and listens to his patients. His bedside manner is awesome!!!

1- Understood my problem. 2- began treatment quickly. 3- some improvement. 4- More treatment. 5-Better results. 6-overall much better than the first time we met. 7- are complicated. 8- we shall see what the future brings.

Dr. Matway, is the best! Always there for you highly recommended.

He is friendly, considerate kind, and he was the only doctor that figured out what was wrong with me while I was having migraines I’ve been going to them for over 10 years
