Dr. Tomoya Sakai, MD

Dr. Sakai was nice, his office staff was very friendly. The only problem I had was he wouldn’t accept Medicare, even though he advertises that he accepts it. I found a new doctor!

Just left his office in Yarmouth, MA. This review is for his office staff not the doctor. As someone who takes Covid-19 very seriously, I was very disturbed by behavior of office staff. Entered room to receive shot and nurse had NO mask on. She had to be told to put one on. Same with front desk staff. No masks until I approached them. NOT good practice and doesn't make me feel safe.

Dr.Sakai takes the time to listen to you. I was so apprehensive about going to a pain doctor to put shots in my spine. He puts you at ease and does his best to make the procedure as painless as possible. He works out the best plan to help get me out of pain. My nerve pain shifts and each time he takes the time and alleviates it. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Sakai explained everything in detail about my problems and ordered all the appropriate tests and took all the time I needed to understand my problems. Very personable. His staff was wonderful and gave me a few cancellation appointments as I was in such pain. They were very friendly and helpful and his nurse wonderful explaining everything she was doing to prepare me for Dr Sakai. Dr Sakai during procedures explained everything he was doing to ease my nervousness. I am very grateful to be a patient at this practice and highly recommend it.

Staff and Doctor Sakai are first class. After chronic neck pain for many years, including multiple surgery’s Dr. Sakai was able to help me and once again lead a normal life. I highly recommend his services.

Before my first visit with Dr. Sakai, I was intrigued by the description, "he has the hands of a butterfly". A close friend had several visits with him, and was quite impressed. I, too, have been so pleased and comforted by his techniques & methods of relieving pain. To say "gentle" cannot begin to describe his treatments. My life and attitude has been greatly influenced. I never enter the Treatment Area with anticipation of pain, because I know I will be relieved for an extended period of time. Also, there is the possibility that I may never experience it again. I believe it will happen. Dr. Sakai is a wonderful gentle doctor who truly does have the Hands of a Butterfly. I swear to it. Mary Niemi

I am extremely happy with Dr. Sakai he is extremely patient, caring and sincere. He made me feel extremely comfortable and was very calming. The office staff is truly remarkable! They are courteous, informative and truly care about the patient's concerns. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I can't say enough about how well I was treated. The doctor and the staff took the time in explaining everything to me and answered all of my questions thoroughly. They made me feel like they truly cared and put my concerns first and at ease. Good experience being treated for back pain.

I always feel I am in the right place for my health issues. Dr. Sakai is thorough and kind and easy to talk to. He listen carefully. I appreciate his help.
