Rude and only in it for the money

I have gone to her for years and find her thorough, respectful and effective.

She actually takes time to listen. She has called me at 8:00 in the evening to follow up.

I had a good experience with the nurses and staff, but had issues with Dr. Jansen. I thought I had a UTI, and when I went there, she said she did not think I had one, but had tests done anyway.(The results would be back in a few days.) She said that if I had the infection, she would call me, if not, a nurse would call me to give me the results-- either way, someone was supposed to call. She gave me a medication to take if I wanted to, but she said she did not think I had it. I never got a call and assumed I did not have the infection, so I only took the medicine a couple days since it voided out another medication I was on. A month later, I got a letter in the mail with the results of my test saying that I actually did have the infection. A similar instance happened another time with Dr. Jansen. I decided to switch to another doctor at the practice.

I write this as a patient from a former practice. She is missed enormously! Very knowledgeable in emergency medicine and family medicine, with a great resume of experience in her positions. She truly loves children; interest in her patients is GENUINE. She LISTENS to her patients. If a patient has to wait on seeing her, they will be given the same interest and care as the patient they are following. Once you meet this Dr., you won't even mind if there is a wait, just to be fortunate enough to see her.
