Dr. Trishanna Sookdeo

Dr. Sookdeo is very nice, but the woman at the front desk is a threatening monster. When I went for the once-a-year Medicare "tune-up", Dr. Sookdeo suggested that I do a living will in case I can't talk for myself. There was no mention that it would cost me anything let alone $171.00. I had told them from day one that I could only afford services that were fully covered by Medicare and my supplemental insurance. When I called to make an appointment with Dr. Sookdeo, the front desk monster said I couldn't have an appointment until I paid the $171.00. I told her that I didn't want it, and they could have it back. A year later, they contacted me to make an appointment. I went in the office for my appointment, and the witch at the front desk said, "Pay the $171.00, and you can see the doctor." I told her no and that I wanted to talk with the doctor. She said I couldn't talk to Dr. Sookdeo, and she said she was going to call the police on me. She screamed at me. I left as I felt very… threatened.

Dr. Sootdeo is wonderful but the staff is horrible. You are unable to get RX refills for anything, even is you have been seen just as the doctor asked. For example, the doctor goes on vacation for a week and they have no one to refill her percriptions for her?? What doctors office does this? I was told I was out of luck, by the Office Manager. This isn't the first run in I've had to not getting my RX filled. The previous prescription, the nurse who answered her emails wouldn't fill my rx because she said I needed a followup, but I had one scheduled, which was said to be okay but the doctor at my previous appt. This held my prescription up another day or two. After the nurse talk to the doctor my prescription was filled. So it took me like 4 days to get my RX filled that time. Getting prescription refills should not be this difficult especially when I am seeing the physician on a regular basis and doing everything she ask.

Uncaring and unprofessional Dr. She sent me for a X-Ray only to be sent to a specialist which asked for another X-Ray because of the long time frame in-between; she never read nor referred to the X-Ray she asked for nor did she do any followups... Also, I was asked to make an appointment for a renewal of simple prescription - it felt like she wanted more money from the insurance. When I got aggravated from her attitude (treating me like an infant) she wanted to check my blood pressure...

New to florida and became vry sick. Other Doctors wouldnt even return calls. She dianosed me , ordert tests and prescribed a treatment. Within three days I was feeling better. She even called herself to checkup on me.
