Dr. Tuanh Tonnu, MD

The front desk lady is so disrespectful. She hung up on me while I didn't finish taking and explaining the issues. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. Also, she was not helpful when I had a small issue.

Loved Dr. Tonnu. She was very pleasant to talk to and she was patient with all my questions and I could tell that she was going to take good care of everything. One of the receptionists simply sounded unpleasant. I wish she could take her time and be more welcoming.

This doctor looks at you like she is above everybody else. She was very rude to me on one of the appointments because I wasn't feeling good at all so I was scheduled to see her. But when I arrived there, she berated me in front of her staff and her patients which shocked me and humiliated me. She doesn't take time to talk about specifics and she doesn't look at the blood results done by primary doctor. She made a mistake on one of the COLONOSCOPY she did with my father and still did not apologize for that. She even charged my fathers insurance DESPITE of her obvious mistake. She should not be a doctor because she doesn't care for them.

Dr. Tonnu will tell you the way it is. She is sweet but tough. She was recommended to me by another Doctor. She takes her time and go over everything concerning your health. I have been to many doctors in my life and been lucky to meet some of the best ones. Dr. Tonnu is one the best. She is patient and listens. Most Doctors are trained to look at their patients as mechanics looking at broken cars. There is a problem fix it and move on to the next car. Dr. Tonnu will not only cure the problem will also teach you how to prevent it. Follow her instructions and you will live a long quality life.

The wait time is long and she doesn’t nearly spend enough time with her patients. This woman never washed her hands before examining me. In addition, she prescribed me a medication which was black boxed by the FDA without telling me that. I developed some really severe symptoms and called her to see if it was normal. She was extremely unprofessional and lectured me if I knew what time it is. If you don’t want to take personal phone calls from your patients, then don’t give it out!

Be aware this office charges consultant fee, which may not be covered by your insurance, even if you go there and told them clearly it is for a wellness check, . The credit card machine is not able to enter security code and you have to send payment by mail or go to office if that is required.

Dr Tonnu is a very thorough doctor with a very nice bedside manner.

the waiting time varies any where from 15m. to half hour. not bad. appointments are considered around your schedule. great. staff, well, the nurse is kind, courteous. the other person, if you don't speak her language you will find yourself in frustrated. she isn't very pleasant, sorry, but true. Dr. Tonnu has done two colonoscopies and one endoscopy. She is the best! Very caring, takes her time with me. breaks down diagnosis so that I understand the outcome of a procedure. explains what procedure/s she's going to do, where and why. She really cares for the well being of her patient. very thorough upon a follow up visit. communication with her is excellent. today most doctors want you out within five minutes, not Dr. Tonnu. She is remarkable.

The staff are nice. Dr. Tonnu has not been as nice as she used to be. Most of the time she just does not want to talk to you and if you ask her a question, she would answer back in not a very nice way. May be she is in the wrong field. That's the problem with most Vietnamese Doctors. They just want your money and don't care about your help. Don't go to her. you will regret.
