Dr. Tudor Gheorghe Jovin, MD

Dr. Tudor Jovin was supposed to put a stent in my left carotid artery and instead allowed the resident to put the stent in, and he had never put a stent in before. My right carotid is 100% blocked and Dr. Jovin should have never allowed the resident put my stent in. The result is the new stent on the left side is 60% blocked and has plague in the stent. I sure hope UPMC Pittsburgh does not count me as a success. After the stent some of his colleagues thought it was humorous that I was upset and Dr. Jovin never showed his face. I saw Dr. Jovin and the resident right after the stent was put in and he thought I was having a reaction to the dye, and said I was fine. When in fact I was having a stroke. I was bought back to see Dr. Jovin, because the person who took me to Post Op said "look at her" and he could tell I was having a stroke. I could go on and on about this experience, it was horrible, but will just leave the date Feb. 15, 2017.
