Dr. Tyrone Ty Lee, MD

First I want to start off that my visit with Dr Lee was amazing. He was was great. The problem came 3 months later when I get a bill for $120 for some sort of download that no one told be about. So go up there to work it out and ask questions and the Office Manager who is the most rudest person I have encountered talks down to me in front of the other customers. Then the wife comes out and isn’t hearing what I am trying to explain to her about the download that I didn’t ask for them to connect to my machine or was it explained to me. You can’t have bills showing up 3 months later for services you did not request. I would not recommend going to this facility. I feel bad for a good Dr to lose patients because his office staff.

The office is dirty. The front door is covered with mold. Disgusting. The building itself is an obvious health hazard.

Dr. Lee is AMAZING. Very knowledgable and I trust him with my life, literally.

I was admitted to Conway Regional thru the ER. for a Pulmonary Embolism. While in the C.V.I.C.U. I had to have a central line placed in the artery of my heart Dr. Tyrone didn't seem to care how much pain I was in . He was determined that no matter how many tries {all 8 of them} he was gonna get that central line placed. While I was in the hospital he was genuinely concerned, He explained what was going on with my health and said that have a good prognosis. On my follow up appointment at his office I walked up to the receptionist and told her who I was and the time of my appointment. She was very rude and unprofessional she said I was not on the list of patients to be seen. " Mind you my appointment was made by the hospital staff prior to my release. " I politely asked when the next open appointment was for a hospital release follow up I had given me an appointment three weeks later, I thanked her for her time. As I turned to walk away I heard her say, " That Muslim Woman… has some kind of nerve. " I returned on the day the that receptionist told me to 20 minutes ahead of time to make sure all my end of the paperwork was tied up. When I was called back I was given a pulmonary function test, which I had never done one before so didn't know what was expected nor was it explained to me rather than blow into this tube. When Dr. Tyrone made his appearance 45 minutes later. He asked me questions and I answered honestly. I swear I was dealing with Dr. Jekel and Mr. Hyde. That caring compassionate encouraging Dr. from the CVICU was not the same Dr. that seen me in his office. Dr. Tyrone was putting me down about my weight, saying I really must not treasure my life as I failed to attend my first appointment and that I was not following his orders. He stated I had my first strike against me 2 more strikes and he would fire me as a patient. Needless to say I left the office upset, I figured it was just the tough love technique. He prescribed very coastly medicines that were not covered by my insurance, and refused to prescribe ones that were actually covered and did the same job. I scheduled my 2nd appointment , showed up reasonably early and checked in. Then I sat in the waiting room for 1 hour, I figured he was probably called to the hospital to tend to someone in poor shape. I patiently waited another 30 minutes and was called back and placed in an exam room, my vitals where taken. I waited another 45 minutes no one had been back to the exam room so I peeked my head out the door and asked about how much longer it would be as I had another appointment that afternoon. I was told Dr. Tyrone was on his way. Another 35 minutes and I was graced with Dr. Tyrones's appearance he was real rushed and again his questions, my honest answers. He litterly told me, I didn't care about my life as I was not doing as well as I should be. He was very loud and talking down to me like I was nothing. I sat there while he ranted on , I told him I was doing the best I could to reduce how much I smoked [ I was a 2 pack a day smoker ,but had cut down to 7 cigarettes a day ] and I told him I was having difficulty going cold turkey and asked for information or as the Dr's call it " Tools to quit smoking ". I told Dr. Tyrone I had tried the nicotene gum , and the nicotene lozenges with no avail and asked if he would consider putting me on Chantix . Dr. Tyrone then said , " If your not willing to work harder to improve your health why should I waste my time helping you. He continued to belittle me to the point I was in tears and on the brink of having a panic attack. At this point he said "Strike 2 " . I was extremely upset. I didn't want to walk out into the waiting room until I could compose myself properly after calming down. I walked out to the waiting room. One of the office staff said , "Maam, have you scheduled your next appointment , " I said I will make another appointment but not with Dr. Tyrone. "

My grandmother was in CVICU last week. Dr. Lee spent so much time with my grandmother and my family. I have never been to a doctor before who spent so much time with us. My grandmother was at the end of her life and he was absolutely the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever seen. He didn't even leave the hospital until around 3am. I have read some of these other ratings. Some of you need to think about the reason you were left in a waiting room. It was probably because he was trying to save someone's life that was in the hospital or spending time with a distraught family because their loved one was passing. He even took time out of his time off to come to my grandmother's visitation.

Dr Lee saw me for less than 10 minutes each visit and told me I looked healthy. He also ranted about insurance companies and other things not related to my health. Fast forward to today, and I indeed have a lung condition he did not treat. The wait each time in the waiting room was no less than hour, sometimes, more. The insurance receptionist is incompetent and rude. Save your time and see Dr. Ladly Abraham.

When I first started seeing Dr. Tyrone Lee he really helped me but then the visits became awkward. It got to where I felt uncomfortable with my visits. I even ask my husband to go with me. It got to where it was not about me anymore but about his personal life. I was being charged to sit and listen to all this. I feel like instead of me paying him he should be paying me as a therapist. I am waiting to get my bill from him. I have stopped going to him.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. First visit with my daughter, we sat in the lobby over 90 minutes to see the doctor. Had another patient come in after we had been waiting nearly hour already, that patient was called to the back. Asked the receptionist how much longer, she said my daughter was next to be called. Continued to wait and still nothing. If they were behind schedule, we would have appreciated being told that instead of just being told "you're next". I do not recommend this office to anyone, worst experience of my life.

i called twice and both times they lied about it do i need another doctor ?
