read other reviews that he avoids complex surgeries and sticks to the 'minimally invasive' surgeries to maintain good outcomes. I was hoping these reviews were not true, however he refused to perform a CABG on my dad and made up a BS reason as to why he wouldn't perform the surgery (I am in healthcare so I knew what he was saying was not adding up and when I questioned him he got offended and pointed out that he was the specialist.) I thankfully had my dad transferred to another hospital who is going to perform the surgery. The surgeon here even stated my dad is a low risk patient for this procedure and there is no reason he should not get this surgery. Without the surgery my dad's prognosis is poor. Dr. Jay was providing false recommendations for the sake of his reputation

Always in a rush and not willing to do surgery. Delayed three times. My father ended up passing away while awaiting a second opinion. Quite ridiculous. Take control over your own life and find someone who will be proactive with your care and value your life.

I had my pleurodesis a few months ago along with heavy scar removal on the inside. Dr.J did an absolutely wonderful job, a pleurodesis and resection was scheduled, however given past lung problems Dr. J took my overall safety into account and decided it was unsafe to do the resection so close to my heart, He cleared most of the scar tissue inside and preformed the pleurodesis. And was in my room daily after the surgery. Even when my recovery took longer than planned. I was living in constant fear of an emergency room visit every time I lifted anything over 10lbs. Thanks to Dr. J I CAN LIVE A NORMAL 20 YEAR OLDS LIFE NOW.

Hey done open heart surgery and left 7 or 8 long stiches that was used and they cut a hole in his lungs. He goes to fix a blockage in my dad's neck and had to put it off TO fix the hole the lung I think he is a poor Dr I would not let him work on my dog.
