Dr. Victor Khabie, MD

I had seen Dr. Khabie years ago through my original surgeon, Dr. Joseph Zuckerman, head of Hospital for Joint Diseases, now combined with NYU Langone. I had had ankle fusion done in the city but was eager for more accessible care as I live in the Hudson Valley. Therefore I was delighted to find that Dr. Khabie also works out of a Fishkill office. He was as I remembered him: kind, polite, highly skilled, and direct. Almost a year on, I was eager for a no nonsense assessment of my condition. His support staff is wonderful, efficient and caring, as one would hope but increasingly rarely find nowadays.

During my visits thought he was kind. Unfortunately, he never diagnosed my fractured wrist properly. After going to months of P/T and several visits, my wrist swelled like a peach pit. Finally couldn't take it and went back. He missed a fracture and by now it's too late for my wrist to heal. No apologies, nothing. Very disappointed as my wrist is often in pain.

Dr Khabe is an excellent listener and he's truly honest. I don't want the best for his patients. Definitely recommend him.

This Orthopedic doctor is highly personable, hands-on, and does a good job asking questions and examining. Very good for knees and shoulders. Highly recommend.

He’s by far the best orthopedic surgeon I have had. He operated on my shoulder approx 7 weeks ago. Everything has been healing in the time frame he has given me. He’s skilled, has amazing bedside manner, and makes me feel like I’m the most important patient he has (which clearly I’m not). He’s answered all of my questions and I feel has been blatantly honest with me about prognosis and future needs. I wish I had started with him from the onset of my injury. You won’t go wrong by having a consult with him.

I had a full knee replacement with Dr. Khabie. My experience with him, and his entire team, was excellent. They were always available to answer my questions. I am super pleased with my new knee. I have regained my full range of motion and was driving within weeks of my surgery. I highly recommend Dr.Khabie.

I have been seeing Dr. Khabie for shoulder issues. I find Dr. Khabie to be honest, experienced, and knowledgeable with a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Khabie is also very personable and takes the time to answer all my questions and he also talks/explains everything in a way that I truly understand.
