For the money I paid I expected at least a 10-minute conversation with him. You are lucky if you get 5 minutes. You do not even have time to think.

Today I visited the Dr. Padilla III office to receive a colonoscopy, since I arrived at the building I received such a nice treatment from nurses and technician staff, who made me feel very comfortable. After the procedure I was taken to the recovery room where ALL the technician over there helped me to recover from the effects of the anesthesia, as well helped giving me some tips on how should I deal with my illness -which is ulcerative colitis-. I am really thankful to all the nurses and technician from whom I received a heated host today, and in special to Dr. Victor M. Padilla for a great professionalism and dedication.I hope it keeps like so. Thank you so much.

After reading some of the above negative reviews I want to educate some of the patients who may have complained on certain topics as a patient who has received EXCELLENT care from Dr. Padilla and am in the healthcare business. 1. For those who are criticizing him doing a colonoscopy and and EGD on seperate days, although I don't know your specific situation, I can almost guarantee there was a medical reason which involved your safety as to why he did that. He's one of the most ethical physicians that are still out there. In addition, it may have been your insurance provider that did not allow him the clearance to do both on the same day. Before you write a negative review do your research on your benefits and understand medically the issues you may be facing. 2. The negative review on long waits in the office: this is an affect of a physician and office that is great. Everyone is important and everyone deserves attention and care and Dr. Padilla spends quality time explaining… complicated issues to patients, most of which may be elderly and require more time and repeating. I am an extremely satisfied patient, I have referred several people to him and they all continue to thank me for the referral. Healthcare is changing and you should not take out your poor insurance and immediate gratification attitude on great doc. I would put my phone number here but I don't have the time to deal with ignorance.

Dr. Padilla is one of the few doctors who are still in medicine for the right reasons. He truly cares for his patients, goes the extra step and provides accurate diagnosises. In addition, I referred to him another patient who was in remission for cancer but was having horrible GI issues and I'm not sure what he diagnosed her with or the treatment he provided for her but anytime I run into her she calls me her angel for referring her to him and tells me that she thanks God for putting both of us in her life.

I saw Dr. Padilla as a patient 2 months ago and had a great experience. His bedside manner was excellent and took the time to explain my procedure. He did not rush me out of his office like every other doctor in Miami. I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment with him but it was well worth the wait. I highly recommend this doctor...
