they seem to care more about the patient copays out front and said they had change dtheir policy.I will admit the PA is a pretty nice and patient person.Seems to be a little bit of greed.The last time I was there the lady at the window seemed like a smart mouth. You can also hear things being said

I visited Dr. Patel's office a total of 3 times to treat severe sleep apnea. I met with him the first time, and then was treated by the PA for the remaining two times. With the doctors and nurses, there weren't any issues with my visit. However, I would strongly recommend office and professionalism etiquette training for the reception/billing staff. In one particular instance, there was an issue with my appointment not being recorded (which I was completely fine with). The staff complained in front of me about "Sherry" not entering appointments and always getting onto them about it. In another appointment, I heard in the waiting room the staff refer to Dr. Patel as "slow", complaining about having to reupload insurance card, and one staff member (male voice) discussing getting into a fight with four other guys. I will say the staff at the sleep study were respectful, relational, and helped answer my questions regarding my sleep study. Good job night team!

If you come here do not expect to see a Dr,what you will get to see is a PA ...Good Luck, My Advice : Go To Duke Or UVA for Lung Dr's.

Excellent physician with the knowledge and care to see to every need that arises and is always available for his patients. I’ve been his patient for over fifteen years and Dr. Patel rates as high as any physician I’ve encountered at a major university in any state. We are blessed to have him in West Virginia where there is such a shortage of quality healthcare providers available.

Dr. V. Patel was my son's physician in Jan. 2010. My son had 30+ bloodclots and was told that he had less than a 1% chance of survival. Dr. Patel did everything he could to save my son. He helped save him, along with the wonderful staff at PCH. I can not say enough good things about Dr. V. Patel.

This doctor will NOT talk to your insurance to get approval for tests done. All he had to do was speak to the insurance for less than five minutes. He refused. His nurses did not get prior approval for a test that I needed. While in the testing machine with temporary approval from the insurance that I'd called to get, the technician removed me from the CT scan. Yes, in the middle of the test, I was backed out of the machine to sign a paper that I'd pay because the insurance wanted to speak to the doctor. Ombudsman had to settle the case. The doctor never talked to the insurance. I had to fight the insurance because of it.

I thought he was extremely rude and does not care about his patients!

Dr. Patel is a great person and Doctor !!!!! But he needs somebody else over the position of picking his staff, because some of his staff are something else!!! Especially 1-2 of the overnight staff, one of them is just a KNOW IT ALL and will tell everything that you do but at the same time doing the same thing or more , I bet she can tell how many times you blink your eyes and the other one is just straight out 2 FACED smh but its cool cause but a word of advice for the KNOW IT ALL, while u running ya mouth about everything u need to worry about keeping your job cause u are about to be replaced....... But I will never even think to put in a application there to work overnights if it was the last place on earth from the things I have heard from pent of people.. There is so much more to say but im gonna keep that to myself.
