Dr. Walter Gales Stanwood, MD

The office is run so efficiently, and Dr. Stanwood is the best!!!

Dr. Stanwood has done rotator cuff surgery and then reversed replacements of both shoulders (Falls caused the necessity for replacements). In all cases, Dr. Stanwood's work has been nothing less than superior. I have complete mobility of both arms, can raise them above my head and even behind my back, generally unheard of for reversed replacements. I highly recommend Dr. Stanwood-especially for complex cases when you think that there is no hope.

I have seen Dr. Stanwood for rotator cuff tendinitis and partial frozen shoulder. His care has been excellent. He has taken time to explain my injury and answered all questions that I had. I have recommended him to a physician friend and he too was very satisfied with the care Dr. Stanwood gave him.

I fractured my ankle and required surgery. Dr. Stanwood is one of the worst doctors I have ever been to. He kept me waiting forever, his PA was completely rude and stuck up. The receptionists are rude as well. When he finally saw me, it was only for 10 minutes and a very quick rush out. Pretty much everyone that works there is horrible. Do not go here. My ankle is forever messed up via his surgery. I will forever have swelling due to his mispractice. Also they only give you enough medication to last a week which in return makes you feel like a junkie calling every week for a re-fill. The care I received here was absolutely awful. Still have nightmares.

If you See him, also go for second opinion.Next time I will!!!!
