Dr. Wayne Edward Vander Kolk, MD

16 years ago he did stomach surgery on me. After I was having issues eating and he blew it off blaming me. I would cry telling him I was starving to death. Thank God my family doctor took over and sent me to an awesome Dr. or I would not be here today. What he was making me drink I was allergic to and made me sick but he never took the time to find that out, he just blamed me for my issue. I did not return for my next apt. I never was contacted by Dr. Vander Kolk to see if I was ok why I had not returned for next apt. It was like he said good riddens. I would never recommend him to anyone even if he was the only Dr. left in the world.

I would not reccomend him to anyone saw him for pre OP appointment he was very rude telling me things that are not backed by any research or any other dr telling me I would have to wait atleast 6 weeks before he would even do the surgery cant believe he even still has a license to practice I'll be finding another dr

Dr. Vander Kolk is one of the best surgeons. He is a gifted doctor who does what is the very best for his patients. I highly recommend him.

He did sloppy surgery work on my body. Uneven skin cut up. Did not care about problems after surgery. He blew them off. Would not admit tickling down my legs were from his surgery. He ignored that I still bled throughout a whole yr after surgery after he told me himself that i should only bleed for about 4 weeks after the surgery. He never spent time with me. He rushed the office visit.

I went to see Dr VanderKolk on a referral from another doctor. He didn't ask me any questions about ailments or what was going on. He told me information that was not corroborated by any published research I had reviewed prior to seeing him. He basically left treatment options up to me. I basically feel like he rushed me out of there.

Very easily the least personable doctor I've ever come an contact with. I didn't feel card for whatsoever, I felt like being a doctor was very much just a job for him.

Took over a month to get into him. Referred by my doctor. Said there nothing he would do for me since my gallbladder didn't have stones. He was impatient and I was literally rushed out of the room. I would not recommend this guy. He needs to work on The care and concern for patients health.

Dr VanderKolk agreed to see me post op after abdominal surgery. My complaint was significant abdominal discomfort. After receiving my lab results, the Doctor came into the room and said I was "fine". He did not conduct a physical exam to understand where the abdominal pain was located. He was rushed and dismissed all complaints. I was very disappointed in his care and would never recommend him to anyone.
