Dr. William A Sunshine, MD

Dr Sunshine is a wonderful Dr. not only does he listen to you he really cares about his patients. His staff especially Rene are also the best you could find. They show compassion, empathy, and concern about their parents. I wish all my doctors and their offices were half as good as this practice.

From the initial phone conversation with Reenie, I knew that this visit would be a positive experience. The office is extremely professional. Dr. Sunshine doesn’t disappoint. From the first phone call to the first injections everything was smooth and pleasant. Rene at the front desk is pleasant and friendly. Dr. Sunshine listened to me checked me out went over my records and history and then set up a date for treatment. The day of my infusion was just as smoothly run as the first. Very pleased with both the doctor and his staff

Turned to the internet to look for factual background information on potential candidates who specialize in a condition recently diagnosed by my primary physician and discovered reviews of physicians published on the internet by their patients. I waded into the sea of opinions and just for fun I looked up reviews for Dr. Sunshine, who has been my rheumatologist for approximately 13 years. Dr. Sunshine told me that emotional and/or physical trauma could cause RA to flare. I’ve had both. Dr. Sunshine is a superlative physician. In spite of all the trauma, he has kept my RA in remission during all the time he has treated me. This is a fact. Not an opinion. Two particularly venomous reviews, one which compares Dr. Sunshine to a viper, have one thing in common. I suspect that neither patient has experienced concierge medical care. I have. Dr. Sunshine’s practice is just like that, but without the remarkably high annual fee one pays for concierge medical care. Judiciousness on… the part of the reader is essential. Who writes vehemently against a physician who is held in high regard by most of his patients and his peers? Do these patients have medical degrees? Among honors and awards, Dr. Sunshine is a member of the National Rheumatology Group AARA. From personal experience, it is my opinion that Dr. Sunshine has the education, the training, the experience that translates into a top rheumatologist, who cares about his patients, who is beyond polite and courteous. The one thing that is good about having RA is that Dr. Sunshine is my rheumatologist.

Upon the recommendation of my gyn after a rather dismal bone density test result, I made an appointment with Dr. Sunshine. He did not acknowledge my concerns regarding the drugs used to build bones which have deteriorated due to osteoporosis as I have many dental issues and these drugs may exacerbate or create a jaw bone problem. He disregarded my questions with a wave of the hand while continuously responding to his wall size computer screen. He is arrogant and not "user" friendly.

Dr Sunshine turned on me like a viper just because I did not want to take a Prolia shot. He was so nasty and rude and then just walked out an said he would not treat me anymore. I always thought that I had freedom to choose what is put into my body.

Kind, sweet man. Took a lot of time on both visits explain health concerns and results of extensive testing he had ordered. The office does not over book or double book. One of the most fantastic, thorough, and accurate clinicians I have ever encountered.

Dr. Sunshine was the first rheumatologist to accurately diagnose my Sjogren's Syndrome and treat me appropriately. It was easy to get an appointment, the office experience has a spa-like quality and is stress free. He spends time and treats me like a person, not a commodity. He personally escorts each patient back to the exam room. He is very well read and spends time explaining my condition in a way that I can understand and relate to. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sunshine and I so appreciate his compassion.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and Dr. Sunshine has been my physician for 12 years. I would recommend him to anyone on so many levels. In addition to his intelligence and knowledge of current advancements and medications, he is compassionate, sincere, considerate, and patient. I am 66 years old and have never known a physician like Dr. Sunshine.
