Dr. William Paul Banish, MD

Please do not let this doctor touch you or a family member. He operated on my mother 04/16/2023 for a bowel obstruction. Since then she had 2 more surgeries and ended up on a vent for 8 days. Currently over 3 months later she is in a nursing home unable to care for herself and now has another infection This is not normal and something went wrong that Dr Banish does not want to admit to. My mother was a fully functioning 73 year old but now can't even walk. This was an emergency surgery so we didn't have a choice in who operated on her. It's unfair the situation that my mother is in right now but we are currently seeking legal counsel

I am speaking on behalf of my mother. She had a bowel obstruction on 04/16/2023 and within 8 days had to have 3 surgeries. After the 3rd surgery she ended up on a vent for 8 days. It is 07/20/2023 and my mother is currently in a nursing home with another infection. I have read every negative review on here and I can honestly say all are true. He is probably the worst doctor out there and when you are in an emergency situation you don't have a choice who your doctor is but I will tell you this, I don't care how much money it takes, I am going to do whatever it takes to stop him from ruining someone else's life. He ruined my mother's life. If anyone else wants to join me send me a message. He is a monster with no heart.

I was so grateful to have Dr. Banish at the hospital when I arrived at the ER. He was thorough and quickly found the problem, made the decision to do surgery right away. Had a couple of issues during surgery but made it right. Very compassionate, listens to patient, corroborates with nurses well, just a fantastic person and Dr. Thank you Dr. Banish. You are now my surgeon!

Dr Banish is wonderful, caring and compassionate. He has taken care of me over the past year and will continue to do so.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to have my surgery done by this dr. It was an emergency surgery do I did not get ther option to hand pick my surgeon and i certainly would not have chosen him. He tells my husband that my perception of my passion is not based in reality and then instead of removing the gallbladder from a side cut takes it out from the top of the chest and cutting through a lot of muscle causing me to not be able to breath deeply or stand up straight from the pain and spasms. I have had 2 other procedures done and none of those surgeons used that top cut as the main working one. In horrible pain... but hey I guess it's all in my mind. He could not wrap his small little mind around the fact that my symptoms didn't fall into a neat little checklist and I wasn't doing it as outpatient. It was so bad I couldn't eat and was stuck in the hospital over a 3 day waiting period for surgery. I was in the process of getting tests because i knew it wad going bad but to… insult your patient and their intelligence is too much. He doesn't know how to properly remove a gallbladder and he does not see the person just the body and the money. I will writing a letter of complaint to whatever medical board I need to. I was talked down to (snarky "how do you know so much about the gallbladder) to insults on my choices of my health. If you have a choice go with someone else. I would have if I had the chance.

gave my daughter unnecessary surgery that could have been took care of with medication, do to that my daughter been suffering and spend another hole month& 1/2 in another hospital so over 3month &way over hunderd of thousands dollars later she at home still suffering &recovering

You don't desire the right to be a doctor, you don't care enough to take your time in surgery.

I just read some negative reviews about Dr. Banish. I completely disagree.He has taken care of my husband and me for several years now and we love him.He has a wonderful sense of humor and his bedside manner puts one at ease.If you don't like him.....go elsewhere but don't post negative slanderous remarks about him. He is not just another doctor working for a paycheck. He sincerely cares about his patients.

Please, Please do a background check before visiting or having any surgeries with this doctor. What doctor asks his patients if he should use anesthesia or not before performing a procedure???
