Dr Coleman. From start to finish he and his office are amazing I'm lucky and can go anywhere my brother in law is NYC number one orthopedic Dr,. Yet I choose Dr Coleman. He did my right knee,. Now I have a torn meniscus in the left,. He's smart attentive relaxed , great staff,. Definitely if you have an issue he's the Dr. Good Luck everyone. Your in goid hands. This doctor is excellent, he is competent. The office hrs, location, appointment availability absolutely stinks.

This comes from a person that had a total knee replacement; The knee was not cemented in and the knee cap was not resurfaced or replaced. The hospital stay was something out of a horror movie. The care was so far from this century. I felt like a piece of meat. I saw Dr. Colman once. Before the surgery. The anesthesia person missed four times in my spine. I had to go out another way. When I woke up I was in so much pain. It was 80 degrees outside. The heat was on full blast. And the windows were nailed closed. They put a fan on me. No pain killers, not enough. My leg was swollen 20 times it's normal size. The pain drip in my thigh was leading all over my bed. They fixed it by putting it into a zip lock. The medication was filling the bag not going into my leg. The nurses were nice but not caring at all. I passed out due to pain. When I left it was three days later and I felt like someone hacked into my leg and left me for dead. Still never saw Doctor Coleman. Their motto is stay ahead… of the pain. I was so far behind it I passed out standing up with no one in the room. My wife had to assist me. Recovery at home was hard. Finally after a year and 8 months of PT and constant pain and being told it's normal he did a bone scan. The components were lose he scheduled me right away. I didn't go back. I had it re done Thursday at Phelps Memorial in Sleepy Hallow by Dr. Corey Burak. I'm writing this today. I am 200% better. The knee was digging into my tibia making a hole in the bone. He gave me a new piece, and resurfaced the kneecap and gave me a new one. I thought for sure I'm going to rehab after this. Nope. I don't need it. I am walking, washing myself and ready to live again. By the way three days at St. Francis my sheets weren't changed, I wasn't washed or offered a tooth brush. If I was alone I don't know what would have happened to me. Another thing. You could hear people moaning in pain all night there. Here is was like a vacation they couldn't do enough for you. I'm writing this because I've spoken to two people in the area that went to Dr. Colman and they are experiencing the same thing. So do your homework. I didn't and it cost me a year of my life. Today my range of motion is at 107. I was at 60 for the past year. Imagine that and this group owns that huge building on Rt 9. I'm not sueing I'm happy to have my independence back and if your in pain, go see Dr. Corey Burak in Westchester he is the best. Oh and he fixed the huge UGLY scar on my knee. It looks better with the stitches in then it did after a year and 9 months. His Doctor Cares.
