He is an amazing Doctor It’s sad that he is leaving Catawba pediatrics. Es un excelente doctor siempre estuvo al tanto de mi bebé. Me entristece que se irá.

He answered all my questions, I'm very satisfied with what he went over . He is an amazing Doctor.

He has been my boy’s doctor since they were born and he has always answered all my questions and concerns. It’s sad to hear that he is leaving Catawba pediatrics. I always preferred him for my boys care.

I love Dr. Barrett. He has the sweetest, most calm and peaceful bedside manners. He’s always taken very good care of my children and grandchildren. There will never be another one like him. Thank you Dr.Barrett for all you do for my family.

We had a great appt with Dr. Barrett. He took the time to listen to us and tell us what his thoughts were. My daughter was very comfortable with him, as he checked her. He prescribed meds that about 1hr after giving them to her starting working. I can already see and hear a difference in her cough and in her demeanor. Im so thankful to the Lord that Dr. Barrett is our PCP.

Always willing to listen and very attentive

Dr. Barrett is a good pediatrician… he’s not only intelligent but he is always pleasant, easy to talk to and present.

I’m honestly not sure why Dr. Barrett has such good reviews. I’m definitely switching doctors for my daughter after today. His bedside manner was the worst I’ve seen in a long time. He barely talked or tried to engage/make my daughter feel comfortable. He was very straight forward in the most nonchalant and unfriendly way. I feel like part of being a pediatrician is being able to connect with kids, and I left the appointment feeling like he just wasn’t a kid person. He also gave me his personal opinion about how the covid vaccine is “unsafe” and did not cite any credible sources. I understand that like with any other vaccines there are people who don’t react well or who may have other underlining heath conditions that make the covid vaccine not a good choice for them. However, my daughter has already had the first two covid shots and has reacted perfectly fine with both of them. She has no underlying health conditions, so there is no logical reason to assume that the vaccine would be… unsafe for her! I also don’t appreciate the fact that he said he felt the shot was unsafe right in front of her. It made her instantly feel fear and it felt a lot like manipulation. Needless to say, she still got the covid shot and she will be seeing another doctor in the future.

Dr Barrett is amazing, he’s seen my 8yo since he was born and now my almost 2 yo. He’s always willing to help and give you the best advice as both a doctor and a father.

Dr. Barrett is the best . My son has autism and Dr. Barrett is great with my son and always helps us any time we have questions or need anything.
