He is the best doctor in the Ohio Valley. I have been a patient of his for almost 40 years. He cares about every aspect of his patients' lives, from spiritual, physical health, as well as what you do to enjoy life. Truly, our whole community is blessed to have him as a local physician.

He was rushed. Seems to overbook appts. Didn't listen to my wife's complaints; kept telling her symptoms were from anxiety, even sent her to a therapist--- I finally got her out of the valley to Pittsburgh. She had thyroid cancer !! Symptoms all resolved with surgery

My family & I have gone to Dr Mercer for years. We are so disappointed to say we are changing dr's. He has become so political & focused on the health dept job that he's begun neglecting his practice. Maybe he needs to do admin type job only & give up patient care.

Excellent doctor who truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Mercer is extremely interested in his patients. Often he has called me at home to check how I'm doing. There have been times I've needed to call him on the weekends. If I don't reach him with my call he always calls me back. It's most reassuring to know you have a doctor as caring as Dr. Mercer.
