William Henry Minnix

I am a 65 year old woman. I had a bad fall.My face landed flat on a root. At my age that can lead to blood clots or stroke. i immediately made an appointment with him. The next day was also my yearly physical. After an hour of waiting he came in. He didn't do any of the normal exams, never put me on the table. He even joked about my "shiner" but paid no mind to the injury, schedule an xray or anything. I began to describe things but while i was talking he simply walked out the door!!?? I was surprised & confused,waited a while longer. The nurse came in & said he was all done with me. I was shocked!! I became emotional ,checked out, & left. A few weeks later i got a uti. I only have one kidney, which he is well aware of,so its important for me to get on antibiotics asap. I spent 5 days trying to contact him. I discovered he had been ignoring me. For no reason his secretary told me he would not be treating me anymore & to go to a free clinic! He is my PC?? NEVER AGAIN! His NEGLIGENCE… could have led to the loss of my kidney, or worse. dr minnix has apparently forgotten the Hippocratic Oath. He seems nice, but when you really need a doctor, HE IS USELESS.

Had an appointment today at 11:00am with Dr. Minnix. After waiting nearly an hour, at 11:55am I heard someone in the office say, "Dr. Minnix is at lunch". I am the ONLY person in the waiting room, been waiting an hour for my appointment, and Dr. Minnix decides to go to lunch! No one bothered to inform me of this. Not only was I not a priority, I wasn't even on the radar. When was he coming back from lunch? 1:00pm?? 2:00pm??? I went to the window to cancel the appointment. The person apologized saying, 'we are understaffed today'. What a lame excuse! As far as I'm concerned, this is a total lack of respect. I cannot think of one reason to go back to Dr. Minnix.

I was a patient of Dr. Minnix for 20 months. Then I caught him telling me a blatant lie. That led me to uncover a second lie, and then a third. He lied to me at least three times. Dr. Minnix is a liar, and I would have zero problem stating that to his face. In my mind, it is inexcusable and unacceptable for a doctor to lie to a patient. I switched to his partner Dr. Carlson, and the difference is night and day.

Dr. Minnix has been my primary physician for several years. My experience has been 100% positive, I have never felt rushed during my appointments and always felt that my concerns were taken seriously. Recently I had an appointment after being diagnosed with osteoporosis. Dr. Minnix explained my test results and spent a considerable amount of time discussing my treatment options. He listened to my input and we arrived at treatment plan that gives me confidence. Additionally, his staff are extremely efficient and friendly.

Dr. Minnix is very a knowledgeable, professional & kind physician. His entire office staff, of Deb, Nickie, Ashley, Tiffany, and Jeanie are superb. They are happy to help with any request and fulfill my request efficiently and accurately. What more can one ask? I am so happy I found this office. Dr. Minnix is currently going over & above board to assist me with a challenging & complex problem and I am truly greatful for all of his efforts and attention. P.S. Their website is easy & ?? nice, makes things dealing with the office even better!

I am very pleased with my visit to see Dr.Minnix. I went for a second opinion and was highly distressed. He calmed me and reassured me. He was very thorough in getting referrals to other specialists. I will see him in the future as a regular physician.

I'm new in town, needed a primary Doc. , Chose Dr. Minnix. Good choice. Easy to make an appointment. Didn't have to wait long to be seen once I got there (I hate it when Docs. make you wait, assuming their time is more valuable than yours). Great bed-side manners, took the time to get to know me and my history. Made a follow-up appt. and was equally pleased. Got references to other specialty Docs. from him, and I've liked all of them too. Overall great experience and I do (and have) recommend Dr.Minnix.

I really like the approach Dr Minnix takes. Itâ??s obvious heâ??s interested in my health and heâ??s not interested in defensive medicine. Itâ??s very easy to discuss problems / medical questions with Dr Minnix.

Wonderful physician ,and very professional staff , always have a return communication ,and answer to all my questions . Always been a positive experience .
