Dr. Wing Yi Liu, MD

After many years of Dr Liu as my and my wife's cardiologist, she and her people have taken great care of both and our hearts conditions. Saved my life and made the terminal condition of my wife much worth living. She is loving, caring and a wonderful human being, along with her crew. She has a very, very grateful patient that appreciates the care her staff provided, practice and the care I was given. Thank you all, R G Hereford

Dr Lui scammed $2073.86 from Medicare. I feel her office is just an assembly line. Make an appointment & get a heart event monitor. I went in & the tech just started hooking me up & I ask why are you doing this. She didn't know, so I spoke with the DR. I believe all I needed was BP monitoring. I had a small stroke & having trouble monitoring. Of course it came back saying I had Afib. Probably everyone that comes there has it. She said she would monitor my BP, but when the stress test came back normal she said I needed to go to my primary care. She referred me to another cardiologist to manage my Afib. When I go to Dr Wangs' office he said he couldn't help me due to my high BP even though his web site says he manages BP. My experience with FL drs is not good. I understand she is a diagnose DR, but that doesn't help me. Their website says we do everything to help. That's a joke.

I had extensive cardiology testing recommended by Dr. Liu, all within normal limits. She then suggested a cardiac catherization which was a totally elective procedure based on family history, saying it was the only way to get an accurate assessment of my circulatory system. During the catherization, Dr. Liu shredded my artery. Not long after, I went to the emergency room of a different hospital with chest pain and required cardiac bypass surgery....not a fun procedure. The surgeon was appalled at the damage done by Dr. Liu.

Very friendly staff and were taken in to exam room on time. Joanna attended to my husband and went out of her way to explain the issues he is having - the office then set him up with a scan and a follow up appointment - what a great place to deal with.

Good doctor but worst staff I ever ran into. They never return calls and are rude.Their ineptitude caused me to suffer longer with a fib because they were weeks returning my calls and a cardiac procedure had to be postponed

I have been seeing Dr liu after Dr Cox screw my heart and heath in Halifax hospital and charged me twice for a mistake he did, any way Dr Liu saved my life and gave me faith again to believe in good honest Drs. thanks Dr liu for every thing

Dr. Liu is kind and caring however, her staff do not share those same qualities. As a patient I felt like I was interrupting their conversations when I checked in my first appointment. Then, at a later appt I was greeted with coarse attitudes and unsympathetic behavior. It really is a shame that such a good MD has such poor front end staff.

Overbooks appointments, very long wait time, conducts visit in a minute, can be very abrupt and inpatient. Interested only in the invasive procedures and surgeries

Neither physician nor staff will return phone calls despite four attempts to obtain the results of testing done a month ago. Staff is rude and dismissive. Time to look for better health care. It should not be too difficult. Hard to imagine how a physician can be so careless.

She is an excellent doctor who takes time to listen and does not order unnecessary tests.She is the second EXCELLENT female doctor I have seen at FL. Heart and Vascular and both are no longer there. Makes me wonder what is going on at that office.
