Dr. Yien Vickie Chiong, MD

She explains thing easy for those of us who do not have a medical degree. She stays on top of my issues and has even called several times to change dosages, talk about latest lab results and/or just to say there was no change and subsequently no need to keep the appointment. That tells me she isn't interested in just my money, she is truly interested in my health.

I have had problems with several doctors who don't know how to do their job. Dr Chiong is the first one who was willing to go out of her way to order tests that have nothing to do with any of her specialties. I see Dr. Chiong and her staff for diabetes. With there help I have no problems regulating my diabetes with a pump. At first my A1c broke the chart (14+), after getting a pump and working with that for a couple of months my A1c is in the low 8's. The staff is excellent. If they say they'll call back they do. If you have problems someone is always willing to help.

Love Dr. Chiong. She is a teaching doc who shares her knowledge with the up and coming physicians. She is always thorough, kind, and caring. If you can get an appt. with her, don't hesitate.

I am so glad my PCP referred me to Dr. Chiong, she evaluated me and recognized that my autoimmune needed to be checked. I had been diagnosis with Type 2 diabetes, but was having trouble managing my blood sugars. She had ordered blood work up to check my autoimmune system because I also have vitalago. Come to find out that I went from type 2 to type 1 diabetes. This is very rare and I am relieve to find out why I couldn't get my blood sugars under control.
