Saw this guy for a few years and thought he had the bedside manner of a used car salesman. Then he went to MEDVIP, a premium concierge plan, and did not bother to let me know. I switched to UC Hospital.

An outstanding doctor who keeps up on changes in medicine as they happen. He also knows the majority of doctors at Rush, and is very helpful in making recommendations as to who to see for what. Within each branch he can quickly name the best doctor for the best issue. Take the heart, for example. He knows which doctor is best for heart failure, heart attack, heart palpitations, and on and on. Totally off topic, he has an encyclopedic knowledge of medicine and the most amazing memory I have ever seen. I hadn't needed a prescription in 5 years, when I did he remembered a) the address of my pharmacy, b) the phone number of the pharmacy, and c) told me a shortcut on how to get there.

I have been going to Dr. Djordjevic for the better part of ten years. His practice is very efficient with a high regard for his patients' time. He is excellent with his followup on tests and he is readily available to his patients at all hours. Since he is on the staff of a leading hospital, he has access to high quality specialists at that institution. However, if there is a particular need that is better served by a doctor on the staff at another hospital, he never hesitates to refer. I know this because I myself am a physician, and I often ask him for recommendations on behalf of my patients. This is the mark of a physician who takes his responsibility to his patients seriously.
