Dr. Drake Brendan Williams, MD

Dr Drake Williams may be an intelligent person, but awful as a doctor. He over medicate, uses to much profanity, doesn't listen, thinks his way is right over other doctors, and tells stories about his past patients that are either dead or in a home. In which some of the stories are about his obese dead father. Why so many under his care end up like this? He didn't like my opinions and questions and dropped me as a patient. I read one of his reviews that called him a drug dealer with a lab coat. I so believe it now.

I saw Dr. Williams as my GP for two years. He was okay with general day to day stuff. Kinda comes off a little macho with mediocre bedside manner. He doesn’t really feel like he’s listening when you’re talking. He did like to push medications as solutions to symptoms instead of finding the real issue. My final straw with him and his staff was when I had Gallbladder failure and he could not diagnose me, he thought my symptoms were a skin condition, or hives… meanwhile bile was leaking into my gut causing immense itching and pain. It took three weeks for his staff to get me in to get a test for gallbladder function and then took many weeks to get me a referral for a general surgeon. I had to find my own luckily didn’t need a referral with a PPO. My gallbladder was functioning at 7% and his staff was in no hurry to help me get treated.

The man should not be allowed to practice medicine. He is loud, obnoxious, and dismissive. His behavior is appalling. 0 rating should definitely be an option.

When I started going to Dr. Williams, he seemed to be caring, he listened to my needs, and treated me with respect. Over time 4 years, all of that eroded. He is rude. On my last visit, he yelled at me and made disparaging remarks that could be overheard by all through the thin office walls. I will not go back, nor will I refer anyone else. Rating should be 0 Stars.

Demeaned me in front of his office staff. Accused me of being drug addict in front of his staff. I will never stop using the law and or any administrative agency to get this pos’ license revoked. Any reasonable person privy to what this pos put me through yesterday would be doing the same thing.

Dr Williams is easy to talk to, he explains things thoroughly, is super efficient with his appointments and one of the best physicians ive ever used for primary care.

Does not listen to patient's concerns. Prescribes unnecessary prescriptions despite raising objections to them. Lack of concern when said prescriptions aggravate and worsen the condition. Very defensive and accusatory when mistakes that were made by him were brought to his attention. Would absolutely not recommend. Only positive, was that most of the nurses were caring and friendly.

His staff was very nice. It's so hard to get an appointment here. Always! I recently strained my back and called to get an appointment to see what was going on (before I new I strained it) and they brushed me off as if i was seeking drugs. (I cant take any narcotics and he knows that). My mother goes to him as well and he proceeded to ask how i was doing and stated "she's a little slow isnt she?". After that comment i will never be back!

Dr. Williams is an exceptional healthcare provider and I would recommend him to anyone. He was aggressive in treating my diabetes. Has excellent bedside manor and always goes the extra mile in my care.

Dr. Drake Williams is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He spends quality time me, making sure I understand everything we've discussed. He is very accurate with diagnosing problems and he is very intelligent and has a wonderful bedside manner. It's comforting to know Dr. Williams has all of the best attributes one could possibly have.
