Dr. Drew Mark Davemport, DO

Went in for Supraspinatus repair. During the non guided brachial plexus interscalene block, Dr. Davenport punctured my left pleura causing pneumothorax. Prior to being wheeled in to surgery, I complained of extreme pain in my chest and rapid heart rate (188 BPM). Upright chest x-ray showed left lung collapse of approximately 25% and growing. Spent four days in ICU and had to have a chest tube installed. Afterword I was sent multiple medical bills exceeding $30,000.00 for my stay. Do not recommend UNLESS he has changed to Ultrasound guided nerve blocks.

He was very understanding and assisted with all of my needs. The medicine that was given really helped with my allergy that I told him about. I would most certainly go to him again and I trust him with my life again and again.

He didn't pay attention when I told him my drug allergies and only wrote down two of the four allergies. He gave me one and I thought I was going to die. I will never put my life in his hands ever again.
