Very good experience! In without long wait, fast X-rays and diagnosis. Matt Peterson, PA very attentive, great bed side manners, caring and compassionate to painful area thought to be rotator cuff tear. Matt did all of the preliminary work up and treatment -Dr Fehsenfeld then checked in to review and explain next steps if needed - very kind and attentive as well. Would recommend these two guys to anyone!

Wonderful service for my family for about 10 years. Recently I had to see him for my shoulder and felt great relief within 24 hours. I would recommend him to anyone.

Scheduled to move to Texas, therefore, sent my records to this office. After deliberating for 5 days I received a call that the Dr. said he will not accept me as a patient. I asked “ why” and they could not answer. I was referred to him through my BCBS insurance network. How can you refuse a “potential patient” without physically evaluating yourself? What about caring enough to give options?

I have been going to Dr. Fehsenfeld for almost 10 years now and he has been nothing but amazing. He always gives his patients the time they need and sits down and talks with them about their injury and different recovery options. He has done both of my knees cal surgies and I have had no issues with them and quick recovery. I would recommend him to anyone young or old.

I had the most horrific experience last Thursday in the offices of Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. I went to have stiches removed from my finger and was shocked to learn that the “assistant” cared more about finishing her shift than safely removing my sutures. I told her several times to remember that my finger was broken and asked if I could receive some sort of numbing cream or a shot like I received in the emergency room when the procedure was first performed and she flat out said, “we don’t do that here”. I screamed in immerse pain and begged her to make an exception in providing something that would minimize the discomfort because I was in so much pain. But instead, she continued to remove the stiches. She then told me that I needed to soak my finger to remove some of the “dry blood” before she could continue. She placed my finger in the liquid and left the room. I immediately gathered my belongings and left as well. This of course was shortly after the physician’s… assistant hit my finger while waving his hands around describing the details surrounding my x-ray and the injury. He was sorry…yes. But this happened after I warned him that he was waving his hands too close to my finger. That should have been an omen of things to come. I will NEVER return or recommend them. I give a rating of 1 because the front desk staff was tolerable (but not the best).

Initially, I liked him. But that quickly changed when he YELLED at me over the phone, spoke down to me as though I was some lowly moronic idiot with no knowledge of my (major) shoulder issues. I do t think he likes people who "challenge" him by way of having any remote knowledge or have done their research on what is wrong with them, or certainly what the best course of treatment is for their issues. Throughout our relationship, he continued to talk to me like I was "less than", and I quickly put a stop to that, as did my spouse (whom set him straight rather quickly). I would never go back, even if you paid me. Stay FAR away! There are many competent orthopedic surgeons in the area who surpass him by way of knowledge and skill.

Ugh. Rude. Abrupt. Wouldn't let me speak. Could not have cared less about me as I was not one of his ancient followers :-) When I exhibited knowledge he became defensive. Challenged the MRI report and the radiologist's opinion. Only got excited when he was able to shoot steroids into one of my knees. That's where he makes the bulk of his income outside of actual endoscopy or cut and paste surgery.

Did not have a good experience at all! He is very nice but does not seem to be "on his game". Don't waste your time, go straight to Texas Orthopedic Hospital....they are the best for diagnosis, surgery, and follow ups.
