Dr. Drew Alexander Palmer, MD

Dr. Drew Palmer recently treated me for a condition requiring surgery. I was referred to Dr. Palmer because of his education, experience, and expertise in robotic surgery, which was deemed the appropriate treatment for my condition by the referring doctor. After my initial consultation with Dr. Palmer, I was keenly aware I had made an excellent decision in choosing him for my treatment. He established trust with me at the outset by taking his time to listen to my concerns and explain everything about my condition in easy-to-understand language, including specifics about the procedure and recovery process. That was a big boost to my morale and provided hope for a good, curative outcome. Dr. Palmer partnered with me every step of the way, taking his time to answer all my questions as if I was his only patient! During our pre-op meeting Dr. Palmer walked me through the details involving my procedure including pre/post-op requirements and recovery timelines. He offered support and… encouragement as I was naturally anxious about surgery, anesthesia, and spending a night in a hospital. He understood my anxiety and assured me I would do great. Dr. Palmer also has a wonderfully skilled care team who provided timely and comforting in-hospital care immediately after the surgery. Two weeks following my procedure, I had my first follow up appointment with Dr. Palmer. During that visit, he shared important medical reporting, and discussed the results of the procedure with me. He also examined my incisions and gave me instructions for following the condition for the next 5 years. The very small incisions availed by the robotic surgical process expedited my recovery. Two weeks after the surgery I fee remarkably well, and in just two more weeks, I can resume all normal activities! My family and I will forever owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Palmer, his medical care team, and office support staff.
