ABOUT THE DOCTOR 
Dr. Drew S. Strum, D.D.S. is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the New York Dental Society. He attended Adelphi University, earning his undergraduate degree, graduated from Northwestern University School of Dentistry and began practicing general dentistry in 1983. Dr. Strum continues to take professional coursework to keep current with advances in dental procedures and industry standards. He is licensed to practice dentistry in New York and Florida.  Dr. Strum was appointed in March of 2006 to serve on the Business Advisory Council of the National RCC, a civic-minded Congressional Committee.  He will play a crucial role, along with other top business people in New York State, advising about government reform affecting small business in Washington.  As a key member of the Council, he has an interest in debt reduction and tax reform and welcomes his patients …to express their views to him in his role as a community advocate.
ABOUT THE PRACTICE
The practice consists of three operatories staffed by Dr. Strum and his team of four dental hygienists and two dental assistants. The professional office staff consists of an Office Manager for Billing, a Patient Relations Manager, and a Dental Office Receptionist. The entire staff keeps abreast of new trends in dental office functions and patient support by attending conferences in the local area.
Dr. Strum accepts various insurances and alternative payment plans to make it easier for his patients to recieve quality dental care. Please inquire when you call the office.

ABOUT THE DENTAL ASSISTANTS
Karen Litjes, D.A. and McHele Busitill, D.A. will assist you with lab cases and answer your questions about when your dentures and other appliances will be ready. (They also assist Dr. Strum and hold your hand all at the same time!)
Diana, RDH
Linda, Lisa, Diana and Eva are well trained hygienists and are registered (R.D.H.) professionals.  This means that they have received continuuing education about the most recent hygiene care techniques.  Our hygienists will polish and clean your teeth (prophylaxis), perform periodontal scaling (deep cleaning), do root planing, administer sealants, chart treatment, take X-rays and educate patients how to brush, floss and care for their gums and teeth at home.  If you have a question about home care, please ask our hygienists about follow-up treatment at your next appointment.  And smile! 
ABOUT THE HYGIENISTS
Please ask our hygienists, Linda Nantista, D.D.S., Lisa DelPozzo, R.D.H,.Diana Allocca, R.D.H. and Eva Caramanico , R.D.H., about the Perio-Care Maintenance Program. Don't be shy about asking them about the proper way to floss, brush and maintain your dental health in between your recommended 3, 4 or 6 month visits.
