Meet Dr. Duane Ludwig
Dr. Ludwig is a lifelong resident of the Freeport growing up on the family farm outside of Lanark. After graduating from Lanark High School, Illinois Wesleyan University, and Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine he had the privilege of coming back to Freeport to practice with his family dentist, Dr. Robert Wilkin. He has continued this practice for the past 31 years and enjoys the opportunities that come his way each day.
He and his wife of 36 years, Valerie, have 3 married sons and two beautiful granddaughters. He enjoys continuing the tradition of family vacations, working outside on their rural acreage, and golfing. He is actively involved with his church and feels blessed to serve the Lord in several capacities, including local and overseas mission trips.
Dr. Ludwig is passionate about serving his patients as individuals with the respect and understanding that they deserve; and is proud to have a staff that shares this belief. He is …committed to learning better and more comfortable ways to treat his patients and completes many more hours of continuing education than is required every year. He enjoys working on kids through senior adults with a special interest in jaw joint/head pain therapy, restoration of both complex and routine dental needs, implant restoration, and Invisalign. In addition, he is a member of the U.S. Grant Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society, and American Dental Association. Locally, he is the dental consultant for both Parkview Home and Liberty Village retirement communities, and a member of the Freeport Chamber of Commerce.
