Dr. Duane D.H. Pitt, MD

I had a Laminectomy and a medial facetectomey L3L4L5. Dr. Pitt explained the procedure and the possible risks of the surgery. He was professional and personable. I am grateful that he was my surgeon. I i ever suffer from any spinal issues, I would immediately call Dr. Pitts' office. I am a very satisfied patient.

I always love my visit at this office. The people is so nice and effection.

This man does not care about you. It is a long wait for a 5 minute at best visit. Very dismissive and rushed because he is always running late.

I cannot thank Dr Pitt enough. After my initial consultation Dr Pitt recommended 6 weeks of Physical Therapy before even considering surgery. At my follow up session I mentioned some “new” symptoms that I had experienced two days earlier. He immediately cancelled his travel plans and surgery was planned for later “that day” as my symptoms were consistent with Cauda Equina Syndrome, which could have left me paralyzed from the waist down. Again my sincere thanks to Dr Pitt and his staff for a successful outcome.

I have a degenerative condition in my cervical spine. Dr. Pitt and I looked at the MRI and he immediately said surgery would be necessary. I've been apprehensive considering the immediacy of the procedure (about three weeks from the first appointment) but dealing with this office and staff has reassured me that my procedure is necessary, prudent and thoroughly considered. Dr. Pitt cuts to the chase quickly and considers only facts. He isn't a PCP or a family doctor. He's a surgeon and his manner is professional and to-the-point. I would recommend Dr. Pitt to any one needing a similar procedure (discectomy, fusion - anterior approach). I'll post more after my surgery is complete. So far, five stars. Bravo!

Awesome Dr. along with his staff.

Dr Pitt makes you feel like he is in a hurry and does not say, for instance, there is a butterfly bandaid that will fall off in time". Since he did back surgery, it is very difficult to see what is going on back there. He does not tell you that there are no restrictions...I had to ask all the questions and it was really fast...maybe 10 minutes with me in the office.

I suffered a fall from a ladder, fracturing my L1 vertebra and my PCP recommended Dr. Pitt. He recommended "no surgery" (always good to hear from a surgeon) and just R & R. While I questioned that diagnosis as I was slowly improving, he was right on. Everything happened as he said and on schedule. If I ever have another back problem, Dr. Pitt will be my man!

dr. pitt was on time for the appointment and was very nice and explained everything in detail. I have been to 4 doctors and could never get an exact answer of what was wrong with me. I have been prescribed pain meds which almost went into respiratory arrest. But when I came to see dr. pitt, he explained what type of surgery need to be done on my back. scheduled surgery and after two days the pain was completely gone. I thank dr. pitt for saving my life. Now I can run and play with my grandchildren. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who has any type of orthpedic problem. God bless you dr. pitt.
