Dr. Duc T. Pham, MD

My father, the most beautiful person one could know, died too young in the hospital 5 days after Dr. Pham operated on him. Dr. Pham never visited my father nor spoke to my mother after surgery or the 5 days he was in hospital. He sent residents and fellows because he knew he had done wrong. Dr. Pham was clearly over confident when he told my father he would do great and offered him no risks to the procedures. Dr. Pham needs to understand his patients’ health histories before carelessly recommending and performing procedures. People’s lives are in his hands and his actions have serious consequences on his patients and their loved ones. I’m honestly shocked Northwestern would have a surgeon like this on their staff.

Dr. Pham is nothing short of brilliant. He performed a lifesaving LVAD surgery on my aunt and then later a successful heart transplant. In addition to being a wildly skilled surgeon, he was kind and understanding of our family's need for answers during a very scary time. We had every confidence in his abilities. Simply put... He's wonderful.

This man is a Godsend. My mother would not be alive without his unmatched skill and immense knowledge. Dr. Pham performed LVAD and heart transplant surgery on her. There is no one better in our eyes. I can say with absolute certainty that we have unwavering confidence in him. We will be eternally grateful.

Dr Pham is best heart surgeon in Boston. He saved my life by implanting heart pump when I had no hope to survive.
