Dr. Duke Ahn, MD

Waited for a month for an appointment. Was referred for wrist and knee issues. Had a reconstructed wrist from a bad break that crushed the bone. Also had ACL surgery twenty-one years ago, that I wanted addressed as it was causing me arthritis issues. The nurse advised me "We aren't authorized to treat your wrist". I asked, "then why do I have xrays of my wrist that my insurance authorized?" The Nurse literally pulled a piece of paper, and showed it to me, "see we only have authorization for your knee, we cannot treat your wrist". I got up and left the appointment. No point, as I'd have to make another appointment to get my wrist taken care of, when I made the appointment and got authorization by my primary care for my WRIST AND MY KNEE!! My primary care doctor, x ray tech, and myself were all told we were authorized for KNEE AND WRIST, and nobody said otherwise, then Nurse at the office puts the responsibility on me as the patient, and refuses to treat my wrist. Will look… for another doctor....and I suggest you look elsewhere as well. Be warned, be careful.

Not only is Dr. Ahn knowledgeable in many areas within the medical field, he is very personable. His communication skills are awesome and he is very clear with his explanations on the issue at hand.

Dr. Ahn has done many surgeries for my family over the past 2 decades. Being senior citizens now, my husband and I are happy to have Dr. Ahn as our orthopedic surgeon and know as we have body issues with age his care will be high quality and thus give us peace of mind.

Dr. Ahn is wonderful. he put me back together after a work accident. one surgery on my shoulder and one on my knee. i had had two prior surgerys on my knee and no one fixed me up as well as Dr. Ahn. i am so greatful it him and so thankful that i had a friend refer me to him and she is as thrilled with the results as i am. anyone looking for a great surgeon just found the best!

Dr Ahn saved my foot and I thank him every day for that.

I have had 2 shoulder surgeries with Dr. Ahn in the past 6 years and am very satisfied with his abilities as a surgeon. He is sensitive to patient needs. He tends to be quiet and seems formal at first, and I suspect more on the shy side than some people. My husband (who has seen him as a patient too) and I loved to get him to smile. Such a nice guy and caring doctor!
