Misleading and gave false hope about treatment. Find another doctor.

I generally wait until afterwards to check reviews, especially on physicians. I find that we tend to be on hyper-emotional and hypo--rational, particularly when a loved one is involved. Reviews should wait while we look at the big picture--ALL of the events that brought us here to oncology. I found Dr. Monga to be knowledgeable (I'm not a doctor, but my background was in CA support), found her to be caring ( I AM clergy and have come to use my "God" eyes with my medical encounters-praying that God reveals the true character. I did look at the reviews first, but hindsight shows that this time it was okay. The negative comments made me look for confirmation and guess what? It had the opposite affect. I found her and staff to be compassionate, properly humorous (we all need a little laugh in this department), and excellent bedside manner--very respectful of my personal space. I hope that we both grow under her care and that her placement on my Care Team was an ordained match.

I went to see Dr. Monga for a second opinion and I knew as soon as she walked in the door I loved her. As a cancer patient you need compassion and she showed it. But also her knowledge is remarkable.

Dr. Monga has been treating me for stage 4 pancreatic cancer for over a year. She is very knowledgeable, she listens well to me and answers my many questions. She and the staff at AGH’s Cancer Center have treated me very well

She didn’t give my mother the true facts other than this chemo is keeping you going that was a lie as determined in her Autopsy!! Dr.Monga didn’t like to be asked allot of questions, I found her as useful as a toothache save yourself the heartache FIND ANOTHER DR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needs to work on her bedside manner and some knowledge too

She doesn't know what she is doing. Very fake. Switched doctors.
