Dr. Duncan Skye Mccormick

Dr. Duncan McCormick is an extremely committed and determined doctor. He is faithful to his patients and I wouldn't want anyone else looking after my child. We moved to Minot in 1998 and my kindergarten son had been quite ill since birth. Dr. McCormick was diligent to find a plan that would make my son as comfortable as possible and train us how to best care for him. I don't mind that Dr. McCormick has a different way of relating to us - he is a kind man and is excellent at his job. My recollection of this story might be slightly different from the facts as it was approximately 22 years ago, but I'll do my best. My son was receiving allergy shots or some type of preventative care (I can't recall what exactly it was) and had reached the highest dose - on that day he had a pretty significant reaction. It was 4:00pm. Dr. McCormick responded exactly as we needed him to - he immediately got our son to the ER, started all the treatments that were needed, then proceeded to stay at… the hospital until 9:00pm because he wanted to make sure that our child would be ok. Honestly, he had our kiddo in what seemed to me to be a safe zone within 30 minutes, but as a precaution Dr. wanted to observe him for several hours to ensure he would be ok. Any other doctor would have gone home to dinner and called the ER staff to check in (which would have been fine), but Dr. McCormick was extremely faithful to us. We always appreciated him immensely. Now our son is 29 and getting engaged :)

If you are suffering and no one can figure out what is wrong with you this is the guy you NEED to see. My son doctored for 7 years and was very very ill Dr. MC CORMICK took 2 hours and then followed up 2 weeks later. He told me things 10 years ago that the public is just now learning. This man is a genious at getting to the bottom of what is really ailing you.

The entire time I had to see this guy, he was horrible. He's rude and not very easy to do business with. I despised going to him so much, I just stopped going. That means I had to suffer a bit, but I have my doc fill my prescriptions now. I couldn't stand the thought of going to him and when they referred my child, I said, 'NO WAY!!'

I have had some underlying health issues that have affected me for the last ten years. After a recent Emergency Room visit, I was refered to Dr. McCormick. He listened thoroughly with out leaving one symptom out. He was so thorough in answering all of my questions it seemed as though he was an encyclopedia. There was one symptom that seemed to baffle him slightly but he still questioned me until he determined what it was. I really appreciated his effort and involvement with my health. He has been the most thorough doctor in my adventure of health issues. Just keep in mind if you are a new patient, Dr. McCormick may answer like a robot but he is a brilliant doctor!
