Dr. Dunnett Capdevilla Durando, MD

She only spends 10 minutes in the room, rushed. She was very rude to me and lacked compassion, her attitude and bedside manner upset me for days. I did not deserve that kind of treatment. I was still trying to ask some questions as she headed out the door. It was a negative experience.

I have had many botox injections between my eyebrows from different dermatologists because i have a bad habit of frowning to the point of getting headaches. They are supposed to Inject deep into the muscles to temporarily paralyze them. I feel crunching like breaking eggshells while injected by qualified doctors. I made an appointment with Riverchase Dermatology & they gave me Dr. Dunett Durando. I asked her if she injects deep into the muscle. She said "Yes" so I said "OK". She pinched my skin & pricked it so quickly that made me wonder if anything at all was being injected. $390.00 & my skin is a little frozen but I can still frown with my muscles which causes more pain. She made me worse! I wrote her a letter asking for a refund. DENIED!!!

Dr. Durando is awesome! She is a caring, compassionate human being. She is always very through with my examinations. Prior my most recent appointment I was going through a personal crisis. I started crying during my exam. She initially thought she had hurt me. When I told her why I was crying, she held my hand and let me cry out my grief to her. She stayed with me until I could compose myself.

Dr. Durando and her staff are great. When I met with her, she made me feel comfortable and scan all my body to make sure I don't have any other issues. I've been dealing with a skin tag on my eyelid that was starting to bother my vision and had concerns over couple moles and she took her time and explained everything and took care of it on the same visit. I definitely recommend anyone dealing with skin issues to see her!

I have had the opportunity of seeing Dr Durando a few times and each time she has promptly come into the room prepared after reviewing my chart. I appreciate that because it tells me she values me as a patient. She is easy to talk with and consistently explains herself clearly in terms you can understand. Office personnel is friendly and professional. I have chosen to travel to a couple different offices in order to see her. Very competent and kind!

I've been seeing Dr. Durando for a couple of years now. She has always provided excellent service. She patiently answers questions. I've had to have two cancers removed - one basil and one squamous. My husband also sees her and is happy with the care she provides.

In August she did a biopsy on my arm. Three weeks later I went back. I was concerned because I was leaving for Mexico in a week and it was all festered and definitely not healing. I was told to just keep doing the same thing. (which wasn't working) But if I had a problem down there I could call her!! What do you suppose they were going to do to help me while I was in Mexico? So I ended up using a different ointment down there & will definitely not go back to Dr Durando!

My wife and I are new Florida residents. We both arrived with Basal Cell skin cancers. We made appointments with Dr. Durando, and had our records sent to her. Both of us were dissatisfied with the outcome. We were treated courteously and on time in a clean attractive office. In the treatment room, the doctor came in and talked to me briefly and then I was prepped for the surgery. It was my first appointment, but she didn’t scan the rest of my body for other skin cancers or abnormalities. She just came back in and cut out the cancer. That was more than two months ago. The area still itches incessantly. My wife’s surgery had the same result, even though we both followed post-op directions meticulously. Her surgery also resulted in an infection that our family doctor helped her overcome. We’ll find a different dermatologist.

My visit today I was very nervous and with that had a lot of questions. The doctor and her assistant Geraldine put me a ease swiftly. They were professional thorough and kind. Thank you ladies. I know I am in good hands with this group.

They make money on surgery twice I had second opinions as did my sister also at different Dermatologist and they disagreed
