Dr. Durga Prasad Vedati, MD

I went to see Dr. Vedati on 9/11/17. I had a horrible skin rash all over my arms and hands. It truly felt like my skin was burning off. He walked in the room, never even looked at my rash and told me I didn't need to be at an urgent care clinic because I was just having an allergic reaction and take some benadryl. I explained to him that I had been doing that, but it was just getting worse over time and I was in extreme pain - about an 8 out of 10. He argued with me and told me I was wrong. He was very rude and didn't even care to look at my arms. He left the room, I put my papers down and walked out. I went to a different clinic and they said it was not an allergic reaction, and benadryl didn't help and I needed a steroid. It cleared up significantly after the 2nd dose. The thing that was the most upsetting was the way he spoke to me, like I didn't know how I was feeling. I've had 2 kids, and been to dr's my whole life. I have never been treated so poorly by a physician. If it was… possible to give 0 stars, I would.

This doctor is rude and does not care when someone hurts. my husband has been to this doctor three times and everytime he has refused to give him meds that he has been on for a year now. This doctor refuses to do anything for his back (he has two bulged disks) and says that it is the job of his sports med doctor that needs to write the meds but we are told that it is a pcp's job to manage meds. I have filed a compliant with JPS about this man. I hope that this gets reviewed and so does the compliant by the director of the northeast clinic. hope the director sees this and moves this man to a desk. this man is not a good doctor much less a good human, I have never dealt with a doctor like this in my whole life. The whole point of being a PCP is to perform general medical help, such as write meds, also he does not believe his younger patients when they say they don't do drugs. In fact he drug tested my husband because he is under 30 and need pain meds.

He well qualified and really tries to explain your condition and any medication.Takes plenty of time to make sure your history chart is accurate.Takes extra time to make sure all your medications are suited to you and is very careful to not over prescribe any that might be additive or harmfull.Very caring.

Dr. Vedati replaced my long term doctor last year and since I have been seeing him, I have been extreemly satisfied with him and his staff. He is prompt and caring and always listens to my problems. I would HIGHLY reccommend Dr. Vedati.

He really took his time and sat with us clearly explained to us what all the medication that he was prescibing to us does to our body. Regular check up showed some thyroid problem and he really took his time to make us understand. I would really recommend this doctor.

he is my primary care doctor in jps. his nurses r very caring. he spends enough time with you and listen to all of your problems. it is very easy to communicate with him because he takes his time to understand your problems and take care of you. i recommend him to everybody.

This is the worst Dr. I have ever known. I am out raged. Where did this quack come from//
