Dr. Dushyant Nagjib Patel, MD

- [ ] Dr. Patel is an extremely rude person. They asked us to pay a $500 deductible (for both, me and my wife) even before the check-up despite the fact that we had already met the deductible. When I tried to explain that there is some misunderstanding and maybe we can give a quick call to insurance which hardly takes 5mins, Dr. Patel came and asked us to pay if I wanted to proceed else he needs to get going with the next patient. We were fine with him to proceed with the next patient and can come back after checking with the insurance, he was like "I will not see you if you come back". Such behaviour is not expected from a doctor and I am glad we didn't see this doctor as I don't want a person like him to be our Primary care Doctor. - [ ] After leaving from there, we checked with our insurance and he confirmed we were right and were not supposed to pay.

This is not a 1/5 but (-5/5) review from my side. This doctor does not have any moral ethics. He only wants to get maximum money out of you and your insurance. His way of doing practice (business):1)First visit order some lab tests + advice to have some vaccines. And will set another appointment after 15 or 21 days2)Second visit order some lab tests + read your results. And will set another appointment after 15 or 21 days3)Third ..same 4)Forth sameHe wants everybody will have heart related tests done without have any relation with your problem.

Do not go to this doctor. He is worst of all.

the doc is more interested in money....did a yearly blood checkup...and for the follow-up he calls me to office -which could have been done on the phone...

Leech of a doctor, prescribes unnecessary tests. Only interested in billing the maximum amount of money and not in actually providing care. Thoroughly unprofessional. Makes my skin crawl.

*** Very Rude Insensitive and apparently I was wasting his timeI was waiting for a scheduled appointment when all of a sudden i heard Dr Patel arguing with a patient because she was telling him that she could not have a certain test done because she wouldn't be able to afford it, at that point he became upset and started raising his voice, and told her that she was wasting his time and that he was done with her and that she needed to find another doctor. If that's how he feels about 1 patient, and said it loud enough for the whole waiting room, discussing that woman's personal health information, that only means that everyone he's seeing is a waste of his time. Someone as unprofessional as that should not be in that practice. Doctors should not consider you a waste of your time!!When he did an EKG test on me, the equipment was old and outdated and the cables and connectors needed cleaning. It took 5 minutes for the doctor to even get the machine working properly. *** UPDATE ***Dr.… Patel's current office is located at:Figueres Ave Ste 340 San Jose CA 95116__________________AVOID THIS DOCTOR There are much better doctors out there who actually care about their patients, and don't consider them a waste of their time.

I was seen by Dr. Patel for a minor chest pain. He spent about 30 min. with me doing minor BP & Pulse check-up and prescribed anti-acids. I was shocked to see when he billed my insurance company $700 for this visit, claiming that spent greater than 60 min with me. I was liable for over $360 out of that. He send me delinquent notices within 30 days of services (leaving me no time to dispute the charges). His answer to the unreasonable charge.." we will claim what is the maximum allowed" When asked to provide me with the records to show check-in and out time. His office asked for $25 to even show the records. I feel very cheated by Dr. Patel for a very poor service.My warning..DO NOT USE HIM. HIS EQUIPMENTS ARE OLD AS HE DOES NOT GET MANY PATIENTS.

Hi All,I would like to share my worst experiance with this doctor, he is a money sucker. He is not good at digonising also. He will force you to come again and again to suck the money.
